Any suggestions on a match up site for Meijer? I haven’t found anything as great as this one ;)

I have a new Hy-Vee in town. Is there anything out there for Hy-Vee match-ups?
They are building one in Cottage Grove too, so next fall we will be looking for help there as well.
Here is the link to one:
http://www.pennypinchinmom.com/hyvee-top-ten-weekly-deals/
As suggested in the title, she offers only the top ten deals.
Another site that had been previously mentioned on PYD is Frugal Fritzie, but she has not had match-ups in over a month.
Couponmom.com has a thorough list, but I have found that our New Hope store does not always have the same offers. You will have to join first (it’s free), then click on GROCERY DEALS then HYVEE.
Our Hyvee opened in Brooklyn park – Yahoo – Hoping We get some matchups going!
Any ideas about how to get some discounted tickets to Calendar Girls play at the Park Square Theatre?
I work for a company that is a MERSC member. I believe we got an email (last week?) about discounted tickets. I think I deleted it, but maybe someone you know works at a company that is a MERSC member and they can get you the info?
Hi Bonnie I am working in the same company that is a member of MERSC happy to see you here.

This link will take you to the theater page. Park Square is on the lower right side. The discount is $10 with limit of six tickets. Again, this is a MERSC discount so you will need to work for a company that is a MERSC member -or know someone who does.
Try the goldstar app or websight.
I saw it last week, delightful.
I am going to be replacing carpet in 4 rooms very soon and wondering where people have gone and what their experience has been. I am up near St Cloud so will probably be looking at the bigger chains but also wonder if one would get a better deal at a mom and pop shop?
I had a terrible experience with Home Depot a few years back, and I’d never recommend anyone go there for carpet. Ever.
I ended up having a WONDERFUL experience working with Lowe’s. The price was great, the folks they contract to do the install were fantastic. I’d recommend them. All. Day. Long.
Happy hunting!!
I think it varies from person to person and store to store. We had an AWFUL experience with Lowe’s several years ago when we remodeled/installed new kitchen cabinets. Apparently, they were in a feud with the contractor they hired to install our cabinets over the price they’d be paid to craft and install our cabinets. I found out only because I’d called the installer to see what the delay was after SEVERAL weeks. Needless to say, we won’t be doing business with Lowe’s again any time soon. Unethical in my opinion. To not even have the decency to let us know what the hold up was and why was just very, very poor on their part. And if they truly “inspected” our cabinets in our garage as they claimed they did, how come they still had dents/gouged in them and were installed that way?! Can’t help but wonder what they were doing that whole time they were supposedly in our garage inspecting EVERY cabinet that was made and delivered to us!
We ended up going with MCI Carpet One in Waite Park. A few people I talked with had good experiences with them so I am giving them a shot. I got a good deal on carpet and as July is their 40th Anniversary they are offerring one room or whole house of carpet installed for $40. Tim the sales manager came out to measure and then steer me in the right direction of carpet and new padding. They will install the carpet over 2 days to make it easier on us with moving furniture which is very much appreciated. I guess we will see how it all goes the middle of aug when the carpet actually gets installed.
I am looking for any document shredding events but not successful in locating any, including my credit union. I am wondering if anyone has heard of any upcoming events in the next few months? Thanks!
Most towns have spring and fall clean-up days and accept paper for shredding.
My credit union already had some this season, but I work Saturdays, so missed them, too. Although I took advantage of the Office Max/Depot q for 5 lbs of free shredding during tax time, thankfully, I have a crosscut shredder. I try not to let the pile get too large, just shredding a bit at a time.
Google free shredding events in twin cities. Pretty sure there’s one coming up in north metro on July 30th.
Burn in a fire pit
July 30 at Bank Cherokee on corner of Hyw 96/49 in North Oaks when I googled free shred events.
Seems easier to just invest in a shredder. They aren’t very expensive. I use mine all the time.
How about a bonfire?
I am curious….once you’ve loaded Cub coupons to your card and used them once, do they need to be reloaded if you go back later in the week to purchase more of that item? I seem to have inconsistent results with this.
Susan – Yes, I’ve always needed to reload mine. *Sometimes* the manufacturer’s coupons don’t need to be reloaded, but my Cub coupons always do.
First of all, I just want to thank you for all you do to put these posts out there. Although I use your posts a lot, I am wondering if anyone know if there is a site that does the coupon matchups for Pick N Save in Wisconsin since we still are getting the coupon booklets as well. There used to be a site called “wisconsincouponmatchups.com” but they stopped posting. Any help would be appreciated.
I have a several printer ink cartridges to recycle. I am wondering which store offers the easiest recycle credit program. I don’t buy a lot of office supplies, but am in the market for a scanner. As an alternative, I understand some charities and schools accept these. Are there any in the NW metro?
Office Max/Depot accepts cartridges to recycle when you use your store card. Check out their recycling rewards info here:
http://www.officedepot.com/a/content/loyalty/rewardsfaq/#faq28
Staples also recycles cartridges: Get $2 back in Staples Rewards for each ink or toner cartridge you recycle.
My sister’s church accepts cartridges to recycle for charity, but that’s in Long Prairie. I would call area schools when they open to find out if they accept them. Many collect all kinds of things for raising money, etc.
Looking for good deal on a zero gravity chair (preferably in black) in the north metro area. Want a good one that will last a few years and was hoping to find one in the $30 range. Also, Keen sandals-any deals out there and where? And lastly, it appears our patio umbrella got totally ruined in the wind last night. It’s a cheapy from Ikea. I’m not willing to spend any more than $40-50 on a replacement. I’m sure most places have limited inventory at this time. Only need it to be dark blue/navy and somewhere in metro. Thanks!
I just picked up a pair of Keen “Sage” sandals at Schuler Shoes in their clearance room. These are super light with good traction, dry quickly and are comfortable for walking- great for portaging/canoeing, water sports, travel, etc. Their sales racks are hit and miss for styles and sizes. They have several stores around the Twin Cities.
Thank you!!! Forgot about that place.
I bought a zero gravity chair about 4 years ago from Menards. They were deeply discounted and had the 11% off rebate with them. Chairs still work great.
Any deals on transferring a prescription this week. Cub Foods had one last week, I think, but I missed it.
Thanks, Sue
