Pocket Your Dollars exists to help you learn to reduce expense in every area of life so that you can experience true financial freedom.  I select content that I believe is consistent with this purpose whether written by me or by a guest author.

Compensation Disclosure

In the interest of full disclosure, I have affiliate advertising relationships with a number of companies. I receive commission from affiliate partners when readers click, buy, print or shop their offers. Pocket Your Dollars also contains paid advertising through a relationship with Lifetime Moms and Google Ad networks. I am paid for each impression of their advertising that appears on PocketYourDollars.com and receive additional compensation when readers click on an ad.

Effective January 13, 2010 I will include a disclosure statement on every post/article where the direct action spoken of in the article will generate compensation (i.e. – if you sign up for the newsletter or request the sample, then I receive a commission). I may use and not disclose affiliate links within posts when the action I suggest you take (i.e. – request a free sample, download music) does not directly produce compensation, but should you purchase something else while you’re on that site I would receive a commission.

Commitment to Mission

You have my word that I will never, and I mean never, advertise or promote anything that is inconsistent with the purpose of Pocket Your Dollars, even if I could make money doing it. I am contacted regularly and asked to promote all kinds of products and services that I decline because they do not serve you, the readers, or Pocket Your Dollars’ purpose.

On the other hand, if you find PocketYourDollars.com valuable, please interact with the site by clicking, registering and buying affiliate offers here, as that is how I am compensated for my time.

    Carrie,
I just found your website today and am trying to figure out how to access the
11/14 Red Plum insert so that I can print the $1/1 Vaseline Lotion coupon. I found the Red Plum link for this week but not the link for 11/14. Thanks for your help!

Bravo to you for posting a Disclosure Statement.. So many of the other couponing sites do not. One in particular tried to tell me she does not make any money, when it’s quite obvious she does (won’t mention the site here). I promptly unregistered from her email updates – didn’t appreciate her dishonesty and certainly would not have her making money from me. Another site that I clicked a link on caused my safari browser not to work on my iPhone (luckily this was able to be fixed with help from the Apple Store). When I told that site about the problem her link caused, she blamed it on the company she was affiliate marketing for – even though she created the link herself. And, she continued to post the link, knowing her links are not compatible with mobile. Cancelled her emails as well (won’t mention the site’s name). The point of all this is: I appreciate your honesty! I think I will just receive Pocket Your Dollars updates and use your site, because I respect your professionalism. And, it seems alot of the other sites just copy from other site’s deals and could care less about their readers, as long as they are making money.

YAY for you that you do make money. You are helping all of us save some of our own money. AND using coupons to our advantage is a lot of work so I can only imagine how much you put into this. You are creating a bridge between us, the consumers, and the manufacturers. I applaud you wholeheartedly. I tell everyone about your site. If I see someone shopping without coupons, I do literally ask them why they do not have coupons and tell them about your site. My kids won’t go to the store with me anymore. But they eat the food and use the products. Thank you for this site and all of your work.

WHen I shop at target or Walmart with the coupons & etc from your shopping lists, at least 75% of the items are not at the price you had indicated. I am shopping in Rochester, do you think that may be part of my problem?
