Frequent Amazon Shopper? For most of us, Amazon is a great way to save money and time on sooo many items, and the best part is, it’s delivered straight to your door! Often times, certain products on Amazon are cheaper than that of your local grocery store, but it’s important to know exactly what items really are cheaper before getting up and heading out to Target, Walmart, etc. And lastly, if you choose to subscribe and save to 5 or more items in one month, you’ll also save an additional 15% on all of your subscribe and save purchases. How cool is that!
Here’s my list of 25 items you should (almost always) be buying on Amazon . . .
1. Toilet Paper
Amazon always has great deals on toilet paper and are frequently less than Sam’s Club or Costco. You can also purchase Amazon Brand – Presto! Ultra-Soft Toilet Paper (24 Count) for ONLY $17.49 (Amazon’s Choice!)
Amazon’s prices on diapers are soo good they’re even better than at local drug stores!
3. Baby Wipes
Baby wipes tend to have better prices on Amazon as well, unless you find an awesome coupon deal at a local grocery store.
This one is one of my favorites! Amazon offers fantastic prices on books every day and this how I buy most of my books.
DVD’S and Blu Rays are also a hot item to purchase on Amazon. Prices are great and you can even find a huge selection available for less than $5!
Amazon has a huge selection on drug store makeup and have some pretty amazing coupons to go along with it. You can grab this $1 off Cover Girl Makeup coupon, valid on eye shadow, mascara, blush and more, and when you add that to the subscribe and save discounts you can get them for as low as $2.49, delivered to your door.
If you’re traveling soon and need new luggage fast, Amazon has great deals on this! You can purchase a brand new Travelpro bag on Amazon for $94.99 with free Prime shipping compared to Kohl’s where this same bag is $250 plus tax.
Amazon has awesome extra coupons savings that have regular digital coupons on shampoo, conditioner, feminine care products, body wash and more!

When it comes to housewares items, it’s still best to do your research and compare prices at other stores, but Amazon always has great deals on home items. I always just pull out my Amazon app when I’m shopping at other stores to check prices!

You can also enjoy one free Kindle book download each month from Amazon’s Kindle Owners’ Lending Library when you’re an Amazon Prime Member (works on Kindle apps too), as well as free photo storage, free Amazon Prime Music. If you’re not sure about paying for Amazon Prime, you can sign up for Amazon Prime Free Trial.
Being an Amazon Prime member has definitely saved me time and money in the long run. Although you may sometimes get better deals using coupons elsewhere, the convenience and ease of shopping through Amazon makes it worth it! And to make things easier, you can share an Amazon Prime account with friends or family members ($100 yearly membership) and just add your address and credit card information on there.
Lastly, here are three TRULY great tips for shopping on Amazon:
1. Amazon basics make some great electronic accessories at great prices. Highly rated at affordable prices.
2. You can get some amazing deals using subscribe and save, especially when you can align it with a coupon. You can cancel your subscription after it ships if you only want it one time. Diapers, baby wipes, deodorant, feminine products, vitamins, paper products, cleaning products etc. The list is endless for subscribe and save. Try to get at least 5 things in a monthly order; the discount goes from 5% off to 15% off when you hit five.
3. When I’m at a store I use the Amazon app to scan barcodes to check prices. If it’s cheaper at Amazon, in my cart it goes!!
