The Como Town deal is back on Steals from StarTribune! This deal include two all day wristbands plus one Lucky Duck game for $23.45. (An unlimited ride wristband is normally $21.95).
Como Town is a family-fun amusement park for kids ages 2 to 12 with more than 18 rides and attractions. They have kiddie rides, family rides, thrill rides, a Splash Zone, and lots more. You can pack a picnic lunch or purchase food at one of the various vendors in Como Town or Como Zoo. Last year I had the kids wear their swimsuits underneath their clothes so we could enjoy the Splash Zone even more.
It’s connected to Como Zoo, so you can really make a day of it and check out the zoo before or after your visit to Como Town. (Como Zoo is free to visit, but they do have a suggested donation of $3/adult and $2/child.)
When you visit, you’ll need to print your voucher (complete with barcode) to redeem at the Como Town Ticket Booth.
The wristbands include a ride on the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride, but note that you must be 48″ or taller to go on the Soaring Eagle Zip Ride alone, and 42″-48″ to go on the ride accompanied by a responsible chaperone 14 or older. If you don’t intend to use the wristbands for the adults in your group, in the past they have allowed me to scan my little ones’ wristbands to use their Zip Ride pass for grownups (since the little ones can’t use them and all).
They’re open daily through Labor Day, then Saturdays and Sundays through the end of September. Como Town occasionally closes due to weather or special considerations –Â you can always call to confirm hours at 651.487.2121.
