If you’re like me, you’re eager to check out the newly renovated Minnesota Children’s Museum in St. Paul which is slated to open in June with ten new exhibits. Right now you can get $20 off a membership at the Minnesota Children’s Museum when you use the code JOINNOW20.
The code is valid on Passport level memberships and above. Prices start at $129 making a basic membership just $109 after the discount. General admission tickets for the new facility will cost $12.95 for children and adults, so this membership would more than pay for itself after two visits for a family of five. If you sign up now, your membership will be valid through June 2018.
A Passport level Minnesota Children’s Museum membership gives you unlimited admission to all locations – downtown St. Paul and Rochester for 12 months for two adults named on the membership and all children under age 18 residing in a single household. Additional benefits, admission passes, and parking passes may be added for an additional fee.
Free Admission on June 17 and 18
If you want a chance to check out the museum for free, good news! You have two upcoming opportunities to do so. With the new price of admission per person, it would cost my family of six $77.70 for one visit, which means I’m very interested in getting in for free. :)
Saturday, June 17: Free Day & Block Party
The museum is closing West Seventh Street and filling it with activities for the whole family. Celebrate with a dance party, trapeze demonstration and tents full of fun. The Block Party is free and takes place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. The museum is open from 9 a.m. – 8 p.m. and you can also get in free, but you’ll need to reserve your tickets in advance.
