Hy-Vee Shopping List 1/14 – 1/20/14

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

As of January 1, Hy-Vee discontinued the “Pet Prints” and “Baby Bucks” promotions, however, don’t toss away your catalina slip(s).

Even though both promotions are no longer available, you can bring the catalina(s) to the Customer Service desk in your local Hy-Vee store and receive credit for the points you earned. Even if you don’t have the minimum 150 points previously required, Hy-Vee has created a prorated pay scale to give customers Hy-Vee Gift Cards for the remaining points.

Use this list of Hy-Vee coupon matchups to find the best deals this week matched up with coupons from the Sunday paper and online printable coupons. As you get started shopping at Hy-Vee, be sure to check out the Hy-Vee coupon policy to see what coupons they do and do not accept. Also, be sure to ask your store manager if they accept competitor grocery coupons as some Hy-Vee stores do.

If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, then learn to read this shopping list. If you are having issues, troubleshoot problems printing coupons here.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price is lowered as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Your turn: What other deals did you find at Hy-Vee this week?

For the Reach Floss deal below in my Hy-Vee ad it showed the Reach Access Flosser tool was also was on sale for $1.99 and it was so after coupon I got it for .99 cents.
I got that instead of the regular dental floss. I would have never paid a whole .99 for one but I got one from the dentist the last time I was there and I LOVE IT!! I would rarely remember to floss and this tool sits right next to my tooth brush and I use it all the time now.
Final price on either is as low as .99 cents.

Reach Floss (1 ct or 30-100 yd.) $1.99
$1/1 Reach Total Care Floss, Gentle Gum Care Floss, Dentotape or Access Flosser Product from 1/5 Smart Source #2 insert (limit 1 coupon per person; limit 4 coupons for the same product in the same transaction)
$1/1 Reach Total Care Floss or Reach Dentotape Floss or Reach Access Flosser printable
    $1/2 Reach Floss Product printable
$1/2 Reach Floss Product printable after registering
Final price: As low as $1.00 after coupon

I wanted to mention if any of you out there have been saving Pet Prints or Baby Bucks. As of January 1st HyVee stopped that promotion and no longer will be printing these out.
I contacted my HyVee and they have set up a way of paying customers for the “Prints/Bucks” you have left; even though you did not reach the 150 point level to receive that $10 gift card. So if you have some left that do not expire until the end of May 2014 call and ask if your store is doing that. If they do not; know that according to what I was told; Corporate told my HyVee store they could do it. So it is worth asking about. I almost tossed mine out the other day while cleaning out my coupons. Now I will make about $8 from what I have left.
