As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons, enroll in Target’s Cartwheel savings program, and browse Target’s weekly ad online. Plus, if you have a Target card, you can get 5% off your total bill when you use the card to pay.

Comments

  1. Cartwheel has 15% of 1-lb pkgs ground beef. UGH!!! Just bought 4 pkgs yesterday with the 5% :(

  2. Target prices are higher in the west metro twin cities. Both the ridgedale location and Medina location have been significantly higher than stated here. Triaminic was priced at $6.29, rather than $4.99, and $3.14 for uncrustables. Just to name a few. Just a heads up to pay closer attention to west metro pricing when shopping there :)

    • Also…. I picked up Taboo tonight for $12, used the 20% off cartwheel, the $3/1 coupon for Taboo or Jenga, then used the coupon for the free Tombstones pizza in the 9/15 SS, then was still able to get the free cookie dough.

Total was $6.60 for Taboo game, Tombstone pizza, and cookie dough. Total deal!

  3. I think the Smucker’s coupon (on coupons.com) is gone; I’ve tried using 3 different browsers and can’t find it anywhere.

  4. We DID get that $5/2 Purina coupon!!! Check your inserts! I got one! Woohooo! (sorry, excited about it!) :D

  5. I can’t find the All laundry detergent coupon?

Like MI said about the pricing variances, most of the advertised deal prices match up here since its taken out of the ad, but our prices in the Twin Cities are $.50-2.00 higher than many of the deals listed in the on-going section since those tend to be regular shelf prices that just have good match-ups and those deals are posted from around the country sometimes (Krazy Coupon Lady is a national blog). That’s why I love it when they list the price range here and I know to always expect the high end of that. Many of these regular shelf prices are taken from other parts of the country where Target prices more competitively to get market share and the cost of living is lower.

    • Are there Twin Cities locations that are on the lower end? I also find that the Knollwood location typically has higher prices too.

  6. The Target Market Pantry Snacks (fruit and granola bars) printable is no longer on their site

  7. The coupons you get when you text “offers” also has a $.75/1 Market Pantry pasta making the deal better than the $1/2 printable. There’s also a $.75/1 Market Pantry pasta sauce which probably makes for a decent deal as well, although I’m not sure what their shelf price is for that.

The $3/2 All & Snuggle coupon isn’t on target.com anymore
The $1/1 Kleenex coupon isn’t there either

  8. **NEW** Buy 2 Maxwell House International Coffee Canisters for $2.99 Each, Get 1 Free (valid through 9/28)
$1/1 Maxwell House International from 9/15 Smart Source insert (exp 10/12)
Final price: $1.33 each after coupons

These were actually $2.59 at Otsego Target. Used (3) $1/1 coupons and paid $2.18 for all 3 (.72 cents each)

  9. Just got a sweet unadvertised gift card deal on select Pantene products at Target.

buy 3 products get a $10 gift card.
Some shampoos, conditioners and styling products are included.

There is a $3/3 and a $1.50/2 coupons for Pantene products in the 9-1 PG and a bogo coupon in the 9-15 SS.

There is also some printable pantene coupons out there as well as a 5% Target cartwheel on pantene.

I bought 3 hair gels at $4.99 each and used a $3/3 coupon and the 5% cartwheel and paid $11.22 and got a $10 gift card back. I wanted to buy more but the shelf was already pretty picked over.

    • I was just there today and they had some of the large Pantene shampoos and conditioners on clearance for $4.54, no sign by them but they do produce a gift card.

  10. I saw coupons on Angel Soft Facial Tissues for $1/1. Angel Soft Tissue boxes were $1.39 at my store.

  11. I can’t locate the Up & Up Pain Reliever coupon in my mobile texts. Can you tell me which text it came in? Or which “word” has to be sent to request it, thanks!
