Who knew that Michael Phelps had a partnership with Shutterfly? (Not me). But, it works out well for us because you can get a free Shutterfly photo book when you like Michael Phelps on Facebook. Codes are being given out through June 21, but are redeemable until July 31.

After you like Michael’s page you’ll get a unique, one-time use promo code that is redeemable for a free 8×8 photo book valued at $29.99. You are still responsible for the $7.99 shipping & handling charge

How to Get Your Free Shutterfly Photo Book

— Authorize the OfferPop app (I uninstalled immediately after receiving my free promo code)

— Visit this special page and enter your one-time use promo code to get your free Shutterfly photo book

— You’ll pay shipping charges of $7.99, but will save the $29.99 cost of the book

Your turn: Truth be told – I’ve never yet made a photo book. I always want to, but just haven’t done it. Any tips or tricks from those of you who’ve made many of these on how to do it easily and quickly?

Shutterfly has a autofill option called Simple Path so after selecting a style and uploading your photos, you can have the site make your book for you. It will autofill your style of book, and then you can do a little rearranging if you want. I did a baby book, and it put them in date order for me. I had to rearrange a few photos that did not have the date embedded in them, but overall it did not take too long. Then, I used a few of these free code offers to have three of the same book printed for myself, my mom, and my mother-in-law for mother’s day. They were a big hit.

That sounds great and all but what about those of us who still don’t and never will be on Facebook?!

I suggest that you set up an account on Facebook that you really do not use. You can just put your name and no picture. This way you can get all the offers and not really do Facebook.

Shutterfly books are amazing. I’ve made several. To make the book the way I want…it takes hours to do. I’m still working on a father’s day book. 5 hours and counting

Thanks!! I agree that when done on your own a photo book can take a while, but they can be very cool and personal. I just used the code to re-print a school year in review that I already created and had it shipped directly to my parents who live out of town.
