SavingStar has updated their coupon policy regarding its “One or Many” deals, which is great news!

It has clarified in its FAQ section that it is okay to use manufacturer coupons with its “One or Many” deals, since these deals are considered to not be manufacturer coupons. In the past, these types of deals have included Wisk, Unilever and Lipton.

All One or Many SavingStar

For example, this means you can use a $2/2 All Laundry Detergent manufacturer coupon with the SavingStar deal currently available for the save $5 when you spend $15+ on All Laundry Detergent.

While SavingStar has made it clear that it is okay to use manufacturer coupons with their “One or Many” deals, it remains the same that regular eCoupons are not intended to be used with other paper manufacturer coupons. For instance, you shouldn’t use a $0.50/1 Lucky Charms Box Cereal paper manufacturer coupon with a $0.50/1 Lucky Charms Box Cereal SavingStar eCoupon.

This is because SavingStar’s standard eCoupons are considered manufacturer’s coupons, and most manufacturers’ policies state only one manufacturer coupon can be used for the same item.

If you are unfamiliar with SavingStar, it is an electronic coupon site and is free to join. Rather than having coupon savings come off at a store’s register, the savings are automatically applied to your SavingStar account, and can be redeemed for cash or gift cards. Do you know if the pre-coupon total applies toward the "spend" amount or is it the post-coupon total?
