This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

As of April 15, Cub Foods changed their coupon policy. You can read Cub Foods’ new coupon policy, but the most notable change is that they only accept expired coupons up to 30 days past their expiration date.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Your turn: What other deals did you spot this week?

  1. Hi There,

Thanks for getting the list out so fast!!!

I have on my list with the oscar meyer wieners being 1.99 each with the cub coupon $5 off savings, after the 55 cents off coupons the final price would be $1.44 each…not $2.44 each as listed above. So they should be $1.44 each, was that a mis-type? Thanks so much!

  2. Ooops nevermind, I see you posted above that your final prices there were not reflecting the 5.oo off savings yet, sorry about that!

  3. $1/2 Nabisco Cracker Products 6.5-18.5 oz. from 11/11 Smart Source insert expired on 12/31 so you would not be able to use it since it is expired over a month ago.

  4. I just found out CUB changed their coupon policy again regarding the $5 off a $50 purchase store coupon. On Saturday , I bought $52 worth of items and used store and manufacture coupons and my total was $5 higher than I planned out in my head. My balance was $40 . The $3 off store coupon of No Name Steaks worked , but I checked my receipt before I left the store and asked the customer service manager about the $5 off $50 coupon that did not kick in. She said that CUB has changed their coupon policy that the $5 off $50 coupon only applies after store and manufacture coupons and the remaining balance is over $50 . This is the first I heard of this. Has anyone else run into this issue ? I guess I will do all my shopping at Rainbow now .

  5. Email Savings Program has ended

  6. Hi- This is the second week now that I have not received my e-mail savings message from Cub Foods (with coupons), normally it is every week-I wonder if they have discontinued this? Has anyone received their e-mail this week or last?

  7. The $1/2 Edy's Ice Cream coupon from the 12/9 Red Plum insert expired on 12/31/12. We're more than 30 days past expiration, so I don't believe this coupon can be used.

  8. In the past month or so there has been many comments on the Cub list regarding this issue–but we have not seen an official change of their coupon policy.

  9. If you need diapers, the P&G deal and $40 baby deal are stacking. Total of $15 back for Pampers.

  10. I am signed up with 2 email addresses and for at least a month now I have only received the email at one address. I have even re-signed up with the one address and still no emails (even though that is the address tied to the gas rewards card and they have sent me coupons to that address for the friend referral program).

Hello I work at Cub and this is what the new policy is in a nutshell: When doing coupons your total AFTER store coupons must be 50$ (not including tax!) in order for the 5$ off coupon t0 work. So I would suggest handing over all store coupons first and go from there maybe add something small if need be. The cahiers will work with you too! (well depending on the person I know I do all the time) I hope this helps clear things up a little!

    • Amber , I'm sure you are a great worker , but let me tell you a little about what I have expereienced lately. The cashiers at the Cub Foods in Blaine ( 65 & main )are getting grumpier every time I visit. Last week a cashier barked at me because the 2 items rang up too cheap. She crumpled up my store coupon and throw it over her screen. She sniped " You will never get these products this cheap ever again. " I said " Only if one were to walk out the door with it without paying . " And then she retorted " Yeah and then you will go to jail " . My total was for $1 !!! Two days ago the cashier would not even tell why my total was so high. She even kept my $5 off $50 coupon. She could of at least given it back to me . She snatched my coupons out of my hand even before she scanned 1 item. I did not even offer the coupons to her yet. That's why I went to talk to the customer service manager very politely. She did not even offer the opprotunity to buy $10 more worth of product to activate the $5 off coupon . It seems like the older lady cashiers are treating the customers like they are trying to pull a fast one over on them . I don't know if there is presure from upper management to crack down on coupon abusers, but some of us legit coupon users are just trying to save a little money to feed our families in this bad economy , not take down a grocery store. A little customer service goes a long way . My 2 cents !

      • Mark, this is just bad service all the way around. I live in Duluth and get excellent customer service. This is something that should be reported. The cashier is costing the store money but not accepting coupons. Email corporate and let them know what is happening. I had an issue a few years ago with the Duluth Cub not accepting online printed coupons. I emailed corporate asking if they were accepted. I heard back from the Vice President of SuperValu Marketing within the week. He wrote a nice email to take to my Cub store. The cashier was so relieved to read the email. He kept saying, "this explains so much." Let Cub Corporate know what is going on. The store manager may have his hands tied with the cashiers. Amber is right, most cashiers are wonderful. Mine get a kick out of helping me save money. I also hand them my $5 off $50 coupons I cannot use to the next person in line.

  12. There's a new one on their website for $2 off $25…. Seems the formatting has changed though cuz you can't print the coupon right away. I think it gets emailed a few days later. Not sure…still figuring it out.

  13. If you still have the $2 off Florida Grapefruit Juice or Fresh Grapefruit printable coupon, it can be used on the Ocean Spray Deal. You can use one for each bottle of juice making it $1 for two bottles of juice and free grapefruit.

  14. Mark the same thing happened to me but the cashier added back in the coupon so she gave me the 5.00 off….not sure when they are officially going to be changing this.

  15. Ground Beef

$1/1 Ground Beef Package 2 lb.+ Cub printable (Facebook offer)

Final price: ?? after coupon (price check, please)

This coupon is no longer available.

  16. It sayas that the facebook offer for bean cans is not available in MN

  17. Hey every ther is a deal for the Cub Brand Cereal that is for 4 for 2 and if you have the 1.50 off 2 it would be cheap cereal like 2.50 then I think you get a dollar back coupon not bad for cereal stock up!

  18. Hello, I went to Cub this morning and found that the Kraft cheese was listed at regular price (super expensive). I couldn't find it on sale in the ad or coupon booklet. Does Cub have a coupon or something for this?

  19. There is a BOGO coupon for Old Orchard frozen juice on coupons.com (under beverages) which would make it great to use with the 2/$3 Cub coupon. :)

  20. Kristen – I was wondering if it would do that. Thanks for the heads up!

  21. Amber@Cub says:

You can use all the manufatures you want as long as you have a total of at least $50 AFTER you have already rung your STORE coupons up. Now if you have done this and your total is fifty dollars make sure that you're watching the tax because if your total is 50 but 10 cents of that was tax your coupon wont work! sad but true. So No Amanda not both just the Store coupons but the tax will get you if you're not watching lol!

  22. Amber@Cub says:

MARK!! I have to say not only have I shopped there and had some pretty terrible expeirences but close friends have told me horror stories of how they were treated and I am shocked and and disgusted that these issues have not been addressed or dealt with! Here is what you do and trust me your voice will be heard! You take yor receipt and call the number of "THE VOICE OF THE CUSTOMER" and it goes to not only their store but they have to respond and take notice because each store has a ranking on the quality of product and SERVICE! I'm so sad to hear this because my friend who by the way is also an employee for Cub was just telling me of her experience visiting that store and trust me this is not right! if you have any problems you need to ask for a manager stat. I was taught to make sure the cutomer always has a pleasant expeirence and I know first hand Cub and management want this too the last thing they want is to loose that relationship.

  23. Amber@Cub says:

Mark read below lol! Not use to this format :)

  24. The post for the baby back ribs is wrong…they are $17.99 minus the $8 coupon making them $9.99.

  25. The Sunshine Cheez-it crackers that are $1.67 each cannots be used with the Man. coupon cause the couponn is for 8 oz or larger and the crackers are only 7 oz.

  26. Jennie O ground turkey is also on sale for $3.50 a package. If you buy the 20 oz package that ends up being $2.80 per pound. This is the same price at Aldi's but if you use a $5/$50 or $2/$25 coupon you can get an even better deal.

  27. I don't shop at cub very often, but I will be there even less. This whole $5 coupon was just handled very badly. I like to be prepared when I check out. I do not like looking ike a fool and holding up a line. All they had to do was print the new policy on the coupon. And we would all adjust.

  28. When I bought 5of the Tombstone pizzas with the coupon for buy 2 get 3 free, a catalina printed out for $2.50 off 5 Tombstones. I'm heading back today to get 5 more pizzas!

(5 for 12.98, minus 2.50=10.48. This makes each pizza $2.10!)

  29. Debbie – The coupon I have states that you need to buy both. Does yours say something different?

  30. Thanks, Keri!

  31. I got that Catalina for the Tombstones also, and when I went back to get more, the same catalina coupon printed again!
