True confession: I actually didn’t like this movie when I was a kid. I watched the part where Augustus Gloop gets stuck in the tube and I was terrified. It wasn’t until later (like when I was 16 or 17) that I watched it again and actually enjoyed it (although I always fast-forward through “Cheer Up, Charlie”).
