Target Shopping List 1/27 – 2/2/13

As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons and browse Target’s weekly ad online. Plus, if you have a Target card, you can get 5% off your total bill when you use the card to pay.

    The coupon database says that there is a $1/2 Ragu coupon in the 1-6 SS R, but I can't find it. Is that something we did not get in the Minneapolis area? Also, what exactly does the "R" mean and is there a way to know the difference between the 1-6 SS #1, #2, #3 etc? Thanks!!

      I'm guessing the "R" means regional and we unfortunately didn't receive that coupon in Minneapolis. I'm curious if there's a way to know the difference between #1, #2, #3, etc as well.

        Yes, "R" means regional. We didn't get a $1/2 in the 1/6 SS, but we did get a $0.40/2 in this past weekend's 1/27 RP #2 insert.

        We do not maintain the database ourselves so what you see there is a list of nationwide coupons. We also don't assign the numbers for inserts, either, so the best way to keep track of that yourself is to find a coupon from one of the inserts and see if it's marked as #1, #2, #3, etc., then just write the number on the front of the insert (I use a Sharpie).

      The math is correct as long as you buy 2 cans and stack the Target coupon with the manufacturer coupon :)

    You can get the pampers economy deal online with free shipping to your door. You can also save 10% by signing up for target baby text, text baby5 to 827438. I did it last week and spent about $61 before the $20 gift card and that was on swaddlers!!

    I just tried printing my Target list and was unable to do so. Not sure why. Is there maintenance being done on the site? When I click on "Print My List" a little white-gloved hand comes up with a red exclamation point. I have no idea what that means.

      It works fine for me with Chrome–maybe there was a glitch? Give it another try or try using a different browser.

      You can either use your zip code or no zip code :) If you don't see the coupon then it is gone.

    Don't be so sure because you ARE wrong.

    Purina ONE BeyOnd is a variety of Purina ONE.

    This was discussed plenty of times on many websites about 2 years ago and the "Purina ONE" coupons always scan for "BeyOnd" and people have contacted Purina over this and Purina says "BeyOnd" is a variety of Purina ONE.

    Rachel – I did the same thing yesterday. They were out of a lot of sizes so I stocked up on size 2 diapers for Baby #3 who we're expecting late May/early June. I ended up paying $22.48/box after gift card ($0.12/diaper) – not bad! http://bit.ly/YeK1fn

    There are coupons for edge shave gel($2/2) and skintimate($75/1) from one of the ad inserts from one of this months papers. I'm not sure if Target allows you to use them along with the BIGI

    FYI with the B2G1 DiGiorno coupon, Target's system applied the full value if the coupon (it says up to $6.01 on the coupon) and not just the price of one pizza. The result was each pizza being rung up @ $4.50 and getting $6.01 taken off. This was at the Vadnais Heights Target. Result was $7.49/ 3 pizzas plus free pop.

    But in this case, the coupon is specifically for Purina ONE BeyOnd, while the product is simply Purina ONE, not BeyOnd. I think that was the question, will it work the other way? It doesn't seem like it should.

    Same thing at the Champlin Target …. they charged $4.50 for each DiGiorno pizza, and deducted the full value of $7.01 of the coupon from the total. A great deal for 3 pizza's and pop!

    There is now a Target printable for $1/1 Glade Plug-Ins Scented Oil Warmer Unit to combine with the previously listed. Should make it free.

    For some reason, the Glade scented oil warmer coupon from target prints as a "manufacturer's coupon" not a "Target web coupon." So I guess they can't be combined after all. :(

    Hey everyone for the Dove's men body wash they were selling them on clearance for 2.78 at the downtown target and you still got the gift too so if you bought 2 and something else like deodrant for 3.99 you would only have pay for 4.90 so after giftcard it would be free with 2 coupons since it limits 2 per transation!

    Sarah – I see what you're saying. I think you're right; the BeyOnd coupons should not be used for regular Purina ONE coupons, but regular Purina ONE coupons can be used for BeyOnd products.

    I tried combining Purina ONE coupons with Purina Beyond to get the gift card deal at Target yesterday but the cash register beeped and the cashier wouldn't enter it as she said they specified two different kinds, and only one variety counted toward the $5 Target card promo. This was at the store off Hwy 55 near Hamel/Medina.

    Question – the $3 / 1 Huggies Snug & Dry has tiny print saying it cannot be combined with any other coupon. Rainbow wouldn't let me use it along with their $8.98 coupon a couple weeks back because of that tiny print. Has anyone else had this problem?

    I'm curious if I will run into the same thing trying to use the $3/1 Snug and Dry coupon at Target this week when trying to combine with either of the Target Huggies coupons. (There's an awesome $3.50 / 1 Huggies Snug & Dry Target printable too!) It would be sweet to combine the two but not sure that will work. Anyone try this?
