Cub Foods Coupon Book 1/4 – 1/19/13

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Check your mailbox for a new coupon book from Cub Foods with deals valid from Friday, 1/4 through Saturday, 1/19.

The home-mailed coupon books contain two coupons for $5 off your purchase of $50 or more in a single transaction.. One coupon is valid from 1/4-1/19 and the other is valid from 1/20-2/2. Readers are now reporting that your total must be $50 after all coupons (including manufacturer’s coupons) are applied before the $5 will be taken off your order.

Not all deals from the booklet are listed here; just the ones that I thought were decent.

Your turn: What other coupons did you find to go along with any of these deals?

something's wrong with the skinny cow q's, when you click on get $1 off now, a compliation error msg pops up . . .

  • Brenda

Yes, the $5 off 50 is in included. But it does not list the restriction on the coupons.

  • Betsy

I give the cashier the $5 off $50 as the first coupon, that way I don't have any problems meeting that minimum. It hasn't been a problem so far…

DiGiorno Pizza & Wyngz, Pizza & Breadsticks or Stuffed Crust Pizza, or Ultimate Pizza 2/$10 (Must Buy 2; Limit 2)

    Use Cub coupon from booklet

    Plus, use:

B2G1 DiGiorno Pizza printable (3rd will be free)

Final price: $3.33 each after coupon (this is a good price for DiGiorno)

This is not possible. The first and second pizza will be $5.00 each. The third pizza will be $7.00 plus. The coupon takes off a max of $7.01. My experience in the past is that they always take it off of the lowest priced item.

    • Cookie

I just did this deal and $7.01 was taken off. It might vary depending on your cashier. The pizzas were 7.99 each.

@Betsy, I've shopped at Cub many times and I've only had a total over $50 a few times- every other time has been under after all coupons. It's always worked fine as long as I've given them the $5 off first. This most recent time, however, it did not work. I thought it was a poor cashier until a few other people mentioned it.

Betsy – People have said that that has worked in the past, but lately the $5 has been added back on when the total amount dips below $50. I tried it yesterday thinking my transaction would be less than $50, but it wasn't (turns out one of my store coupons didn't work), so I wasn't able to test it for myself.

I tried this deal yesterday and it worked as listed. I gave the manufacturer's coupon first, then the store coupon, and the cashier took the price of $6.99 off (my other two were $7.99).

Cub Foods has a new policy with the $5 off of $50 coupon. The total must be over $50 after all of your coupons have been scanned. If it dips below $50 then the computer will add the $5 coupon back on. I am a cashier at Cub and they just informed all of the cashiers about this.

    • Betsy

I know complaining about it doesn't change anything, but WOW, that really stinks! First they never double coupons and now they nickle and dime customers on their own store produced deals? That's really a shame… :(

I was just wondering if anyone else has been having problems with the deli meat coupons? Last Month when they had the salami on sale i purchesed 3 lbs. They were in 3 seperate bags and the cashier tried telling me that it was only good on 1lb. Well after pitching a fit they gave it to me, but just wondering if anyone else had been having the same problems.

  • Sam

remember that instead of doubling coupons, they acept expired coupons. If people are using store coupons and the total dips below $50 I can see how the additional $5 wouldn't deduct off the total.
