I (Laura) apparently am at the age where everyone around me is having babies as it seems like I’m invited to a baby shower every other month or so. While it’s nice to buy things off of a baby registry, it’s also good to have some last-minute gifts on hand in case you don’t have time to go to the store or to give “just because,” even if there wasn’t a baby shower.
I found a few baby items on Amazon that I think would make nice gifts. Keep in mind that shipping is free with an Amazon Prime account, otherwise you’ll either need to pay for shipping or spend $25 or more to get free Super Saver shipping (if your chosen items are eligible).
This Philips Avent BPA-Free Toddler Gift Set, 6+ Months is $8.86 (list price $19.99 – a 56% savings). It includes a divider plate, large bowl, small bowl, fork and spoon.
I think gifts for older babies are always a good way to go. So many people get gifts thinking about teeny-tiny babies, but those little babies get bigger before you know it and then need stuff like this. Plus, this set is gender-neutral so it would make a handy addition to your gift closet.
There are also a number of Disney bodysuit 3-packs for girls with prices as low as $5.35:
Disney Marie “Butterflies” Cuddly Bodysuit 3-Pack $6.90 (list price $12.99)
Your turn: What’s your default baby shower gift? What (if anything) would you give along with these gifts to make it more special?
