Veterans Day 2012 Freebies and Discounts

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Various restaurants, retail stores, and other locations are offering freebies and discounts for active duty military and veterans in honor of Veterans Day (Sunday, 11/11).

Two things to note:

  • Officially, Veterans Day is Sunday, but Monday (11/12) is considered a federal holiday due to the actual day falling on the weekend. As a result, some of these deals are available on Monday instead of or in addition to Sunday.
  • Some of these deals are only available to veterans, some are available to both veterans and active duty military.

We’ve rounded up the deals we could find; please leave a comment if you know of any others and we’ll add them to the list.

  5. Doug Setley says:

As a Viet Nam Vet. I can say that we really appreciate all that is done for us. However for several of the functions they say "with ID", and unless you're retired, reserve or active you do not have a military ID. They are not issued to all Vet.'s.

    Thanks again!!!

  6. Boston's Gourmet Pizza is offering a free entree (limited menu) to Vets, active duty, and first responders with ID today.
