If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Bucks program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.

And if you regularly purchase beauty products at CVS, I recommend enrolling in the CVS Extra Care Beauty Club, which is free to join. As a member, you will receive $3 Extra Bucks on your birthday in addition to other opportunities for free Extra Bucks. Read this post to find out more.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?

Comments

  1. The Purex liquids are priced at 5.99. I didn't catch the ultra packs or crystals softener

    price, sorry.

  2. If you buy 10 of the Herbal Essences shampoos at $2.98 for $29.80 , would that qualify for the $30 minimum to receive the $10 Extra Buck Cash ? Or would I have to buy an extra P&G item ? How picky is CVS's ECB reward program ? Thanks !

    • I'm gonna have to say no… I wouldnt count on it. I'm going to do that deal too, and was just planning on buying the Puffs for $1.50… but since it saves the transactions to your card, you could always just the the 10, pay and see, then if you need to buy another thing in another transaction!!

      • I was wondering the same thing! Thanks for the answer.

        • I think they print out at 98% of the required total. So on a $30 deal, you only have to spend $29.40 to trigger the ECB to print.

        • I did this deal tonight and it printed. I also noticed that the P and G deal has carried over from last week so that could be another reason. Also after reaching 30.00 twice I still haven't reached my limit.

        • Interesting. 98% seems like a very precise figure. Where did you get that info?

  3. Sounds like a good week to use your free Nivea Lip Q (if requested from facebook awhile back). Two free!

  4. Thanks for the idea–now to find that coupon in my piles :) Also time to organize my coupons!

  5. I couldn't tell you for sure which one(s), but I have read the 98% on other coupon-related forums. I wish I had a more official source to cite for you. And while I haven't tested the 98%, I have had instances where I hadn't quite reached the minimum and the ECBs still printed.

  6. I just bought 10 of the Herbal Essences (only 10, nothing else in that sale), and it worked! Good luck!

    • Thanks for the info. ladies. I will bring a box of Puffs with me to the register. I have some old CVS $4 off $20 purchase coupons and another $ 10 ECB and I will roll it into another $ 10 ECB. Good time to stock up on Herbal Essence. Down to the last conditioner. The girls in the house love it !

for this deal where are the .60 coupons I only see .50

    **Deal idea***

Buy 5 Fiber One Bars for $2 each

Use five $0.60/1 printables listed above

Spend $7, get $3 Extra Bucks back

Final price: $0.80 each after coupons and Extra Bucks

  8. sandra T says:

    never mind I found them

  9. Weird as I have been within a few cents of the total sometimes and haven't got it to work. I do remember reading something on the CVS website about being close to total and it should work. Wish I could remember when or for sure. Funny what age does to your brain.

  10. Did anybody else notice that the Herbal Essence bottles are now 10 oz. ? In the past they have been 12 oz. bottles. There is a $5 rebate from P&G when you spend $25.

  11. I just have to say that since I started using this site…CVS is WAY better than Walgreens…I just looked at my most recent receipt…I have gotten $400 in savings and spend $25 since the beginning of the year…YAY!!
