A few new point-earning activities are available on Recyclebank.com along with two new Disney Movie Rewards codes.
Disney Movie Rewards
Earn a total of 20 points for your Disney Movie Rewards account when you enter codes Cogsworth and Lumiere (each worth 10 points). Both codes expire Wednesday (4/25).
And some of you may have new survey available to earn an additional 25 free points. To see if you were lucky enough to receive the survey, click on the “My DMR” link at the top of the page then click on the “Surveys” link on the left-hand side. The survey is called “What is Disney Second Screen?”. While you are there, if you haven’t already taken the other survey’s available, you can complete those to earn additional points.
In addition, if you plan on seeing the new movie Disneynature: Chimpanzee this week, you can earn up to 400 bonus points. Or, if you still have the ticket stubs and saw this movie opening day (4/20) or this weekend, you can still earn points. You will receive 100 points for each ticket purchased (up to 400 points total). Limit 4 ticket redemptions per account. Ticket stubs must be entered into your Disney Movie rewards account by 4/30.
While you’re logged into your account, don’t forget through 5/31, Disney Movie Rewards is offering a free Disney Blu-ray (select titles) along with 125 free points when you enter two Disney Movie Rewards codes found inside any two Disney Blu-ray or DVD movies. You can find more information on the Disney Movie Rewards website or by reading this post.
If you are looking for a fun prize, Disney Movie Rewards is still offering a $5 Starbucks Gift Card for 500 points or a $10 Starbucks Gift Card for 1000 points for a limited time. They have also recently added a $10 Disney Gift Card for 1000 points.
If you are unfamiliar with Disney Movie Rewards, it is Disney’s loyalty rewards program that rewards you for purchasing Disney DVDs or CDs or seeing Disney movies at the movie theater. The program also regularly releases codes such as the ones above to help you earn free points. You can sign up for a free Disney Movie Rewards account or find out more about this loyalty program by reading all about Disney Movie Rewards.
Check our archives for more codes or point-earning opportunities that may still be available.
You can earn a total of 40 free points for your Recyclebank account in celebration of Earth Day. To start earning points, login to your Recyclebank account then scroll down until you see Target’s Earth Day banner as pictured above. Click on it and answer four questions. Once you’re finished, be sure to click on the blue “Get My Points & Learn More” button to have 25 points credited to your Recyclebank account.
Next, return to Recylebank’s homepage (if you aren’t already there) and scroll down until you see a banner with a blue “Take the Pledge” button in the middle and the Unilever logo in the upper right-hand corner (as pictured below). Click on the “Take the Pledge” button to have 10 points automatically credited to your account.
Lastly, you can earn 5 free points by clicking on the “Earn Points” link at the top of the page, then look for the featured pledge on the right-hand screen of the page (it should be at the top of the page) and click on the blue “Pledge” button. Scroll down to the bottom of the article and click on the blue “Pledge” link to have 5 points credited into your account. You can earn 5 points once a day by taking a featured pledge.
And remember, another easy way you can regularly earn free Recyclebank points is by reading articles on Earth911.com. You can earn up to 3 points every day for reading articles (each article is worth 1 point). Once you click on an article, all you have to do is scroll down to the bottom of the article, look for the blue bar as pictured below, and click on the “Get My Points” button. You can also earn 5 points when you sign up to receive their newsletter and follow the provided instructions.
If you are looking for a way to spend all the free points you’ve earned through the Passport Planet challenge, I want to point out there are a number of newly added free magazine subscriptions you can get for only 100-150 points, including Redbook, Good Housekeeping, Women’s Day, and more. You can find a list of magazines by clicking on the “Get Rewards” link at the top of the page and then clicking on the blue “Free Offers” button on the right-hand side of the page. This would be a great way to save on magazine subscriptions for yourself, or make a great free gift you can give someone else.
For those of you unfamiliar with RecycleBank.com, it is a company that partners with cities and haulers to reward households for recycling. You can find out more about this program by reading Laura’s intro post on RecycleBank.
