If one of your New Year’s Resolutions was to send more greeting cards or are any sort of greeting card lover, then now is your time to replenish your stock. American Greetings has all their greeting card assortments (30 pack) on sale for $11 each through February 29. All orders ship free this month too, which works out to $0.37 per card. You have nine sets to choose from.
Your turn: For those that enjoy mailing cards to others what advice do you have for the rest of us, who wish we mailed things out more often, that would help us get more cards out in the mail. I personally could use some advice in this area.

I do not see any packs with 30 cards, just 15 for $11. Can you advise? Thanks!
Julie – Here is the link I used and these are the 30 cards for $11. Hope this helps you :-)

I LOVE sending out cards. In fact my husband teases me about all the cards I send.
I shop at the Dollar Tree where most cards are 2 for $1. I have a box like the one these come in and organize them by month and by occassion.
I also make cards too so they are cheaper.
I have an online calendar and put everyones Birthday in it and I have it remind me a week or sometimes 2 weeks before their special day. Then I just need to go in that month in the box and get out the card for them, personalize it, address it and mail it.
I like to print off the calendar because I like to buy or make cards in advance like when the Hallmark near us went out of business, I got the .99 cent cards for 75% off. I was able to grab every card I could think of….
I hope these tips help! :-)
I’ve been pleased and surprised at the quality of the Dollar Tree cards. They’re pretty nice for .50.
I have a box of cards (shoe box) that I have organized by type of card. I almost always have a card to use and don’t have to buy one any more. To get a good selection, I look at the greeting cards when I go to Arc’s Value Village. They sell their greeting cards for .39, and sometimes you can find full packages of 8 or 10 for .99-1.69. Just have to give a plug for my favorite thrift store.
Even in the day of messages by email and Facebook, I think people really like getting a real card…I know I do.
I actually sign my cards, seal and address for the events of the upcoming year, then put them in a file by date. I don’t usually put the stamp on at this time; instead I write in small print where the stamp goes the date of the event, then when I add the stamp it’s covered up. That way, I’m sure to mail them at the appropriate time, even if they get mixed up.
I’ll do this while I’m watching a movie or something. The cards I’m not sure when I’m going to mail I’ll put in a secondary file.
@Julie, the first card pack titled Variety Value Greeting Card Set is 30 for $11. It looks like the rest are 15 cards in a pack, but I think it’s still a great deal!
I think maybe the 30 card packs are sold-out…I see 6 packs of 15 cards, but no larger packs. It is still a good deal, though!
My mom sends my daughter a card (with $1) every week. I save them and when my daughter is older she will have a record of my mom’s life wk by wk and what they did together :)
Sorry that the card set I chose to feature only had 15 cards in it. The email I got from American Greetings had a subject line saying “30 cards for $11 + free shipping” and I didn’t do a very good double check on the individual products as I assumed they all had 30 cards. I was wrong and I have proven to myself again why I need to pay attention to the details more than I often do. Thanks for your graciousness everyone.
They have a 30 ct pack available again this morning :)
