Free Yoga on Saturday
The YogaSoul Center in Eagan is holding a number of free yoga and related classes this Saturday, 1/7, as part of their Free Day. Classes go on all day, 8am-4pm, and participants can pre-register for the classes they are interested in. This would be a great time to try out something new – the offerings include a Zumba class and a laughter yoga class.
Target Family Day at MIA
This Sunday, 1/8, is Target Family Day at the Minneapolis Institute of Arts. In addition to free admission, kids will get to explore the theme of “Earth, Wind, Fire & Water” through dance performances, crafts, stories and tours. The event goes on throughout the museum from 11am-5pm.
Lil’ Explorer Thursdays at Como Zoo
The Como Zoo is offering free fun for kids on Thursdays through April. This Thursday, 1/5, is the first day of the program, Lil’ Explorer Thursdays, which has a different theme each Thursday. Kids can meet animals, hear stories, play games and more.
Beauty & The Beast Story Time + Free Movie Tickets
This Friday, 1/6, Kiddywampus in St. Louis Park, is holding a special free Beauty & The Beast story time at 10am. Even better, the first 50 kids at the story time receive a free ticket to a Saturday, 1/7 showing of “Beauty and the Beast 3D” at the theaters at the Mall of America.
