Bring your child to Home Depot this Saturday from 9am-12pm for the free Kids Workshop where they can make a Savings Shed to store their money. These workshops are designed for children ages 5-12 and are held the first Saturday of every month. Each child receives a free project kit, kid-sized orange apron, and achievement pin.

This month’s weekend adult workshops include High Efficiency Lighting, Kitchen Redesign – Replace, Reface, Renew, Bath Safety, and Storage and Closet Organization Solutions. Check the Home Depot website for dates and times.

Check out two free demos on Saturday: Cricut Cake – Mini from 1-3pm and Knit & Weave Loom Kit/Lion Brand Yarn Week from 3-4pm (note that demos may vary by store location). If you’re interested in taking a class at Jo-Ann, they’re holding a Classes Open House from 1-3pm on Saturday as well where you can save 50% on selected classes.

Regardless of pre-registration requests, Lowes (at least my store in Shakopee) has never turned anyone away, and I don't see that happening. Ever.

    Most sincerely,

Curt, (and yes, you can quote me on that!)
