Scholastic’s The Teacher Store has an excellent deal on children’s books for teachers and homeschoolers.

Through 12/8, they have three sets of 50 children’s books on sale for just $50 each. With each set having a list price of $250, the sets are currently 80% off. To get the discount, no coupon code is necessary, just add the set(s) to your cart. Shipping is calculated at 9% of the order total, so $4.50 for one set of books.

If you don’t need that many books, then check out their Dollar Days sale and pick up individual books for a buck each.

Note: The Teacher Store is for teachers and homeschoolers only (I’m making a sad face because I can’t get in on this deal). You have to give school and district information to order, first-time orders must be sent to a school, and this information will be verified before orders are processed.

Three different sets of $50 for 50 books are available for different age groups:

50-Book Collection Grades K-2 drops to $50 when you add it to your cart.

50-Book Collection Grades 3-4 will be $50, $1 per book.

50-Book Collection Grades 5-6 is also 80% off the list price at $50.

In addition to these book bundles, the $1 Days Teacher Resources section has lots of goodies, from classroom decor to stickers and workbooks. I spotted deals up to 94% off in this section.

Deals include:

Managing Independent Reading has a regular price of $18.99, but is $1, a 94% savings.

Quilting Activities for Young Learners is down to $1, 92% off the $12.99 list price.

Your turn: What other deals did you spot for your classroom?

I cant find on the web site where there are individual books (not teacher resources) for $1 each. Can you give me direction? The link above is not working for me. Thanks!

The link does work now and brings me to the teacher resources (notepads, stickers, posters, etc.) that are on sale for $1. From the wording in your post I thought that there was a section where I might be able to buy books (maybe the ones listed in the $50 packages) individually for $1 each. I am not finding any books for $1. That was what I was unsure about.

    I am a homeschooling parent.

Stephanie, we did highlight a couple of the activity books, but the rest of the dollar deals are supplies, not individual books. I apologize for the confusion and will clarify the post.
