Restaurant.com: Get $25 Dining Coupons for $2 (Exp 12/14)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Restaurant.com Weekly Promo Offer 300 x 250

Get most $25 restaurant dining coupons for $2 at Restaurant.com now through 12/14 with the coupon code STOCKING at checkout. That coupon code also gets you a $25 plastic Restaurant.com gift card for just $3.99 which your recipient can exchange for their own dining coupon on the Restaurant.com website.

The restaurant coupons (they call them “gift certificates”) all require a minimum purchase which is calculated before the coupon is applied. Those minimums are clearly stated before you purchase. There are a few restaurants where it’s indicated “promo codes do not apply” and, in those cases, you cannot take 80% off the price of the coupon.

Also note that most $25 gift certificates retail for $10, but some are priced at $15 or $20, which means you’ll pay more for those particular restaurant gift certificates.

Even with that minimum purchase requirement, I think Restaurant.com is the best way to get the deepest discounts when dining out, especially for restaurants that don’t regularly have coupons in the newspaper inserts or sent out via postal mail. With daily deal sites like Groupon or LivingSocial, you spend more money up front and can lose out if you forget to use your coupon.

With coupons from Restaurant.com you spend less up front, print them at home immediately after purchase and can save as much as 66% on a dinner bill.

Your turn: Are there restaurants that you have tried or discovered because of these coupons from Restaurant.com?
