If you are new to shopping Double Daze, be sure to read Roundy’s (Rainbow Foods, Copps, and Pick N Save’s) double coupon policy before you get started to understand all the restrictions of their double coupon promotion.
If you shop at Copps and your ad doesn’t match the items mentioned in this shopping list, then check out what we saw for sales last week.
Two things to remember about this list of deals. First, it does not include every sale-priced item that has a coupon. It only has those items whose final price is low enough for us to mention it. Second, it is a starting list: as we learn of more deals whose final price is low enough, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Wow, what a list this week! Thanks for posting it so quickly.
I noticed in the ad today, it doesn’t mention that Saturday will be Double/Double day…I thought there will be two more DD days this month.
Saw the flyer at the Plymouth store, that Dec 17th will be Double Double Days.
Thanks
No double double daze this week :( Cross your fingers for next week!
One of the clerks at Oakdale Rainbow told me the next double double days would be the 17th.
That’s also the date I got from the manager at Northtown last week.
Me too.
I couldn’t get the Jack’s facebook offer .75/1 coupon. I think that is done with.
in last week’s thread there was mention of 12/17 as double double day.
The first Rayovac coupon link is done… it’s been printed the max amount of times
Bear Creek Coupons DND.
Does Rainbow still do double day on Saturday?
Only Wednesdays, unless it’s a special double double day.
I am in Auberndale fl vacationing and they have Xtra detergant for 1.98! without Q’s! insane
There was also a coupon in the paper for $3/1 Triaminic medicine, so it would be $1! I wonder if Triaminic messed up on their coupon and meant to have a $1/1 coupon..oh well, more savings for us! :)
I got one of those coupon for a FREE John Frieda Percision foam hair color (came in the mail). Would I still get a $3 off a future purchase?
Yes, you would.
This is a disappointing week at Rainbow. No need to go to Rainbow this week. Don’t remember the last time that I couldn’t find anything to shop with.
Does anyone know if the Coffee-Mate Natural Bliss creamers are 2 for $4? There’s a coupon for $1/1 which would make them free after doubled coupon…
According to the website, they ARE included! Free creamer is great!
Is this coupon in the 12/4 insert? Thanks, free creamer rocks!
It has been added to the list. See above for a link to the printable coupon.
Hi Carrie!
I’m a bit confused as to what items I’d be able to get on sale only during the 3-Day Sale – Thursday 12/8 – Saturday 12/10. Initially I thought everything listed under that header was on sale just for those 3 days only. But then there are the items that shows the doubled coupon prices. Yet the 3-day sale isn’t on a Double Coupon Day.
Would you clarify for me? I’m planning a trip from the boondocks on Wednesday and want to know if making a return trip on Thursday for those sale items is worth the hike!
Thanks for all that you do, Carrie! You provide such a valuable service.
I honestly don’t know if you changed something or I’m that unobservant, but I see the “Week Long Deals” heading now and Thank you Carrie! :)
I changed it. We do read what everyone writes and do our best to fix the mistakes :)

Does anyone know if the giftcard deal cam be done multiple times, or if it is one per Roundy’s card.
Thanks for your help!!
Fine print says “limit 1 per transaction, limit 1 per household”.
Not sure how they would keep track if you didn’t use your Roundys card.
OK I am going to ask this quesition again, even though I have had it answered in the past. In doing the cereal deal, would the $10 off count against your $25 threshold for doubling coupons? Or, as long as you reach $25, the $10 doesn’t count against you? Does anyone know hoe much the Kellogg’s cereals are running? Thanks!
I have done the cereal deal in the past — I plan my trip around the 25 threshold — I have gotten the 10 off and still been able to double my coupons :D
Awesome, thanks!
So I emailed Rainbow headquarters to see if I could get on their mailing list so I could get a coupon book that they send to homes in their area.
This is what the contact wrote:
“I apologize but both the ads and booklets are not direct mail publications. The book is printed once a month and included in the publications I mentioned. You may view both the ad and booklet online if you are preparing a shopping list and then ask for a book at the service desk when you visit the store.”
I thought we could NOT pick up the mailed coupon books from the store?? Help!
I would print out a copy of their email and take it with you to customer service. They will probably find you a copy or make they may just do a price adjustment for you to meet the booklet prices.
It has been my experience that my Rainbow DOES give out these booklets at the Customer Service Desk until supplies have been exhausted. I once did not get the booklet in the mail and I just simply asked if I may have one and they had a stack of about 100 or so. I definitely would check with the service desk — it certainly doesn’t hurt to ask.
Thanks for the info on the coupon books, I didn’t know I could ask for one at customer service. I live about 45 min. from my nearest Rainbow, so I live out of the area that gets the books.
Hey everyone I just found a Colgate coupon in the paper for .50 off of any so it does not exclude any from it so with the coupon book it’s .99 I think so there is a limit of 4 its a great time to get more toothpaste for the stockpiles k!
Tracy,
I always pick up the coupon books at customer service!! I have called Rainbow & I live outside their mailing area, they advised me to pick up the booklets at customer service. I have never had a problem getting a book from them! Hope this helps!
Interesting, I wonder if it varies by location? I once asked at the Maplewood one and they said they do not have them in-store.
I’ve asked at customer service for booklets and they have either said they don’t have them in the don’t have them, or they will ask what coupon I’m looking for and cut it our and give me just that one… ??? (Maple Grove or Eden Prairie are usually where I shop)
So if you use coupon book items, does the $25 threshold count BEFORE all the coupon book coupons? On original prices? Or is it after all of the coupon book prices you have to be at $25? Thanks! I am preparing an extra transaction in case I can nab a coupon book from customer service as noted above!
Katherine – The $25 is AFTER store coupons are deducted.
My rainbow, everything is b/4 coupons and sale
Excedrin $1.98 (Limit 1)
There’s also a $2/1 and a $1.50/1 printables available on Coupons.com

Warning, it doesn’t pop up a window to print in goggle Chrome.
In Chrome, a little red X will appear near the URL bar. You’ll either have to okay it and have it go through again, or click directly on the pop-up link so you can print the coupon.
I went to Rainbow in Minneapolis and purchased 20 Gerber baby foods used the $4 off Rainbow booklet coupon and I received a $4 off future order coupon. Has anyone else received the $4 off a future purchase coupon?
Carrie & everyone,
I printed the Nestle coupon — it came out $0.50/1 instead of $0.50/2. This would make an even better deal on those morsels!
Really?! I just printed a $0.50/2 coupon. Strange!
I picked up 1 cup Pyrex measuring cup for $1.00. I believe they retail for $3, but with the $1 Pyrex coupon doubling it made it $1.00. Great gift!
Both the Splenda and Nabisco crackers coupons are no longer available on SmartSource.
Joanna, I just printed the Nabisco coupons right now. Did you put in your zip code?
Went to The Official Laughing Cow Fan Page, took the quiz, no coupon. Somebody posted on the wall about it and the response was “Your coupon will be e-mailed to you when the promo ends on 12/11/11.” Too late to use with the coupon book :(
Yep, bummer, I saw that message right after I took the quiz.
I didn’t find the Newman’s Own coupon good on salad dressing (just one for pizza) or the Cascadian Farms coupon. Perhaps these sites updated their coupons with the change in month?
I didn’t find either the Newman’s Own coupon good on salad dressing (just one for pizza) or the Cascadian Farms coupon. Perhaps these sites updated coupons for the new month?
Rainbow on 169 &55 had a Kellogg’s display with free cereal bowls with purchase of 2 Kellogg’s cereal. They rang up .01 which would have been fine with me, but the alert cashier noticed and subtracted the penny. Free bowls to go with the cereal & milk deal. Now we only need a spoon!
awesome,wonderifany other stores have these?
Brooklyn Park Rainbow had Secret deoderant for half off making it $2.39 plus I had a coupon for $1 off 2. Doubling makes it $1.39/stick.
“Halls Cough Drops $0.98 (Limit 1)
Use Roundy’s coupon from booklet to get sale price
Plus, buy 1 and use $0.50/1 from December All You magazine”
The All You coupon is $0.50/2
I just used it today and I think it was $0.50 off 1 bag. I only bought 1 bag.
Midway was out of the pyrex one cup measure-bummer! Who knew it would be such a hot item :P
Rainbow in Blaine just deducted 5 cents per reusable bag that I had. Didn’t know they did this! Does every rainbow do this?
Yes, they do!
Yes, they do at mine too. :)
They are always supposed to as it is a Roundy’s advertised policy, but I’ve always had to specifically ask for it, and sometimes have to ask repeatedly until I see the discount rung in, even at the locations where the cashier bags and they very clearly see you have brought your own.
Copps in Madison, Wisconsin has posted at all their stores (and I was at three today) that they are having double double coupon daze Saturday, December 17th! I just have to say between the general mills deal and the progresso deal I kicked butt today. Also, got free colgate, rayovac batteries, excedrine, and milk. I have 24 more boxes of cereal added to my stockpile and 4 more free milk and eggs coupons…12 more cans of soup added today, too…
:) :) :) :) :) :) :)
What is the 11/16 SS insert??? That’s not a Sunday. I have 11/6 and 11/13, but no 11/16, and I keep trying to find the Halls coupon, but never can.
It’s the 11/6 insert :)
My Rainbow (Lakeville) would not take the Cub coupon for the chicken.
Why? Did they give a reason?
The Robbinsdale Rainbow would not take the Cub Manf. coupon for Pepsi the other week either. The cashier said they would not take it because it said Cub on the coupon.
POM 100% Juice 16 oz $2.50 assorted varieties. Used $1/1 POM Product SS 12/4. Made each $.50 after couple doubled :) My husband loves these!
At the Uptown Rainbow yesterday I bought a Cabot cheese, thought it was 5.99 but it rang up 3.99 sale and by the deli cheese there were coupons that if you buy a Cabot cheese you get a free bag of Pretzel Crisps. I like those too. The ad is not in the paper or I didn’t see it.
The St. Louis Park rainbow also had pull tab coupons for $1 off any cabot cheese product. They say do not double, however, Rainbow doubled them for me. I bought four at $3.99 each. Then bought four Pretzel chips for $3.59 each.
It was $7.96 plus tax.
I feel silly asking this. I spotted this deal last night at the Midway Rainbow since they had a sticker on the Cabot cheese saying you get a free Pretzel crisp and also had the $1 off the cheese on a tearpad next to it in the open case. But I couldn’t find the free coupon to get the Pretzel Crisps. They had a large stand of crisps just behind the cheese that announced the deal. However, I couldn’t find a tearpad or coupon on the Crisps bad. No one seemed to know. I tried asking at checkout also and the cashier tried ringing them and shrugged. I would never complain since I’m so fortunate to get these great deals but I really wanted this one to work. How did the deal work for you? Is there a tearpad on the Pretzel Crisp stand? Details please. Thank you all!
Heads Up! Double Double Daze at Rainbow Sat. December 17th!!! :)
I did the Gerber 2nd Foods 2pk deal yesterday in Milwaukee and got a $4 off coupon from Gerber. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet. Great deal!
I did the Gerber 2nd Foods 2pk deal yesterday in Milwaukee at Pick N Save and got a $4 Gerber coupon at checkout. Not sure if anyone has posted this yet…great deal!
oops! Thought it erased my first post.
I just the $4 back from buying the gerber foods today, too.

I got some great deals! Have been an avid user for the past few months now… My friends and family have been wowed by my savings which has been helpful since my graduate school loans just kicked into repayment…
For the Chicken deal… My cashier second guessed the $5 off meat coupon but ended up giving it to me. He also doubled the $1 off coupons I had printed from the internet… I felt a little bad using all the coupons at once but wow such a great deal! I got 6 packages of chicken for like $11!
I also found an unadvertised deal on pillsbury holiday cookie dough… 50% off! WIth the $1 off 2 pkgs that doubled… I got each for 50cents! I stocked up on those since I work with kids and we like to do baking activities. :)
