If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Bucks program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?

Mars coupon is no longer available …. :(
Found a $1 off any 2 Mars Holiday products from the December All You magazine.
Looks like a yawner of a week at CVS this week. FYI if on the CVS advisory board email a $5 survey this week.
Hope I get that email. I haven’t heard from the advisory panel in months.
Can anyone tell me how it works when CVS gives you a coupon for $5 off of a $30 purchase? Is this applied before or after other coupons are applied? Thanks!
Before coupons.
Chris – I always give the cashier that coupon first, so it’s before the other coupons.
The price Mentos UP2U Gum is 1.49. Plus my CVS gave me the .51 overage for ever 2 I bought.
Our stores do not have the centrum pro nutrients vitamins. I’m getting sick of CVS always advertising stuff they never have in stock (or never had in stock to begin with).
Better deal at Target for these. $11.99 each buy two get $5 Target Gift Card. Use 2 manufact Q’s $5/1 and two target Q’s $2/1 signs on display says till 01.03.12.
Thanks for the heads-up Jo. I was thinking about getting these at CVS but I might wait. It’d be an even better deal if Target had their $10 GC with $50 purchase again this week, like they’ve had the last 2 weeks…
After scanning my card today, the scanner gave me a $5/1 coupon that I was able to stack with the manufacturer coupon scoring them for free. St Louis Park CVS had these in stock, good luck!
Happenings books–Costco had them for $19.99 last night and I got coupons at checkout at both Cub and Rainbow for purchasing Happenings books for $19.99 and free shipping if you want/need one.
how long do you have to wait for 20% coupon?
Got mine right away-check your spam box
I’m wondering the same thing…
I got a great on the fusion. Bought the 12.49 Razor and the 15.89 Refills and a shaving cream. Total was a little over $30 Cashed in a gift card from last weeks deals and a 30% off printed out. The cashier very obliging used the coupon which knocked off 9.62$ before I used the $5 off razor and refills and a 2$ off the shave cream. Total was 11ish for a razor, blades, shave cream and scott towels. And I got 10ECB
Did have a question though-been to three CVSs and none of them had the american greeting cards-they only seem to have hallmark. Anyone come across a cvs with them?
I didn’t see American Greeting cards at my CVS, Sarah. There is a $3 off Hallmark coupon on the cvs website (under in-store coupons). Give that a try.
I don’t see the coupon for this deal:
Glade Air Freshener (9 oz.) $0.99
Buy 2 and use $2/2 Glade Products CVS printable.
It is on CVS’s website under Savings/In Store Coupons.
How do you get on the CVS advisory panel?

“**There is an activation fee for each of these prepaid gift cards, so the Extra Bucks basically helps cover that fee.”
Laws have changed and there are no longer activation fees for these types of cards to my knowledge. In fact, I just got a $10 prepaid AmEx card with the deal and used it and there was no charge. I used it at a department store with no problems.
