It’s a much better ad this week for CVS, with lots of health and personal care items on sale with the turn of the new year. You can pick up free lip care after coupons and Extra Care Bucks as well as inexpensive oral care products, NicoDerm and hair color. Plus, CVS has a new gift card promotion, allowing you to get a great deal on shampoo, makeup, dish soap and bath tissue.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Bucks program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?

Land O’ Lakes Milk (1 gallon) $2.29 (Limit 2)
Sale price, no coupon needed

**This is likely a regional deal.
Land O’ Lakes Orange Juice (1 gallon) $3.49
Sale price, no coupon needed
Final price: $3.49**
**This may be regional.
I am holding the Twin Citys’ ad. there is no milk in the ad, but there is the orange juice in there.
First off, thanks to Carrie for putting this up!
Secondly, I just looked at the online ad and the milk sale price is in there. Not sure what the one you are looking at is like but online it’s in the top left hand corner of page 4.

A good wk to start stocking back up on some stocking stuffers for next yr :)
An error message comes up when I click on the NUT-rution link – I believe I printed one last week (and used it at Target) – has any one been able to print it today?
I got this: Error! (OCAP)
Kari and Sue,
I fixed the Planters NUT-rution link and it should work now
Anyone been in to CVS and seen what CVS products are in the buy $30 in CVS product and get $10? I buy my kids acne products there and am hoping that I can buy that and get $10.
Last time I was in I saw sign after sign showing the CVS $10 GC program. Looks like it is pretty much all CVS products except the listed exceptions in the ad.
The Cover Girl Eye Shadow is 3.89 at the CVS in Apple Valley.
The Nature Made vitamin coupons listed for the Smart Source ad are not actually in that ad. Those coupons are for Nature’s Bounty in Red Plum.
Shakopee Cvs and South Padre Island, Texas Cvs have a lot of make up marked 50 and 75% off. Some Almay stuff marked down 75%. yesterday my sister got mascara for 19 cents after the 2$/1 coupon from the 1/1 insert and I got eye shadow for 12 cents.
No Nivea coupons here in Louisville… :( I just moved here from Twin Cities… Anyone know the best paper here for coupons?
I think the Tampax Pearls are a good price – $2.00/box of 18-20 is what I shoot for these tampons (they’re a bit higher than others).
There is a 10.00 off coupon on the Alli site plus there was brochure on the display with a 10.00 off Cvs coupon plus you get 10.00 back ECB. I picked up an extra brochure if anyone needs one. If you ever wanted to try, this is a great time. 49.99 (on sale)- 20.00 in coupons=29.99 OOP plus 10.00 ECB back. Not bad.
There were two different Smart Source coupon booklets in my paper on Sunday (Maple Grove). The one with the Vision World ad on front and said ‘Smart Source New Year, New You!’ had all of the Nature Made coupons that were listed above in it.
You’re right, Denise. Thanks.
I got a 50 cent cvs bucks coupon after buying two skim milks, making it an even better price on milk.
The CVS in my area had the Skinny Cow’s for $4.49 with a dollar in register bucks (or whatever they call them there). The deal at Target (3.99 plus free Snackwells 100 calorie packs) are a MUCH better deal! I printed the coupon a few times and they let me buy 3 deals worth – 9 boxes of snacks for $12 today!
Attention KMart Shoppers:
The CVS Slim Fast deal is pretty good. But…..there is a better deal at Kmart. KMart doubles coupons on Wednesdays and Saturdays up to $1.00 (5 max w/ Shoppers card). There were BOGO Slim Fast 4-pks in our Chicago Sunday paper. I will order six 4-pks for $30 on Thursday through MyGopher via ShopAtHome (6% cash back) and enter GET10 promo code for 10% off $20+, which should take off $3. Since MyGopher will give you the option of picking up and paying in store (within 48 hrs after placing order) I will just go to the lay-away counter on Saturday with my coupons to pick up and pay for my items. I plan on using (3) BOGO’s and (3) $1/1. The $1 coupons will double this Saturday. You will also get a $5 cash coupon for buying $25 worth of Slim Fast 4-pks. I’m not about to do the math here but this will actually turn out to be a money maker!
I got milk at CVS for $2.29 a gallon. Also, they have the slim fast packs at 6.49 each, but 2 for 9, so actually 4.50 each if you get two. I used to printable coupons ($1.60 off two and $1.25 off one) but held onto my bogo in case I find a better deal somewhere else- I’m still new at this and testing the waters.
Are you sure that to get the $10 gift card you need $30 of name brand OR CVS brand products? I thought so, but when I went, I was told I needed $30.00 of the specified CVS brands (Caremark/CVS) – the other products (mostly P&G) were part of a separate deal. I was VERY unhappy and ended up having them take off everything except the things I absolutely needed to purchase that day.
