Get a great deal on a Nintendo 3DS right now at BestBuy.com: when you order a handheld Nintendo 3DS console, you’ll also get a $50 Best Buy gift card. Taking the value of the gift card into account, this puts this product at an all-time price low.
CamelCamelCamel shows the lowest price ever on Amazon as $169.00 this past September, while a third-party seller on Amazon sold it for $140 + shipping earlier this fall. Either way, this deal from Best Buy is the lowest price we’ve ever seen.
Here’s what you need to do:
– Select the color of Nintendo 3DS you want: Flame Red, Aqua Blue or Cosmo Black. Check the “Add to Cart” box by the one you want.
– Next, select the $50 gift card by checking the “Add to Cart” box.
– Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the green “Add to Cart” button.
Complete the checkout process and you’ll get free shipping on your order. It’s as easy as that!
Plus, shop through Ebates to get 3.6% cash back or Mr. Rebates to get 1% cash back.

When gift cards are involved in a promotion, will other stores match the deal? I saw this in the Best Buy printed ad, so wondered if I could take it into Target/Walmart and get the same deal?
No, no one matches gift card promos :( I think that’s one reasons stores sometimes do them (in addition to the gift cards requiring you to make a future purchase).
Just ordered this – thank you for the tip! I seemed to be forced to go pick up the 3DS, though, which for me is not a problem since I work 2 blocks from a Best Buy – there did not seem to be an option to have the actual product shipped, just the gift card. So if you are not near a store, I don’t know what you would do. (they do give the option of having someone else pick it up for you – you just have to enter their ID info.)
I am very excited to be able to get my son what he really wants and “save” $50 at the same time for other purchases!
Thanks for this deal alert, ladies. I had already gotten a 3DS for my son (who gave away his DSi recently – ack) at Target with a free $25 gift card, but I will certainly take it back from under the tree for these extra dollars in my pocket! On my way to Rogers to pick it up soon!
(Unfortunately, it looks like they won’t distribute the gift card to you on the spot – it comes in the mail. I’d rather spend it now so I don’t have to come back later, but sometimes you do extra things to save additional $$!)
Just saw a preview for Target’s 3-day sale and they have this same deal (169.99 + $50 Target gift card) starting on Thursday, December 8.
can you use the $10 gift card with $50 purchse coupon too and get it for a better deal than at best buy?

Any idea how long this deal lasts at Best Buy?
