Lots of great deals are to be found during Walgreens’ 3-day Black Friday sale (unless otherwise noted) with 18 items free or better than free after coupons and Register Rewards, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, razors and probiotics. You’ll also find great prices on many other products. Don’t forget that the week-long ad is still good through the end of the week, too.
If you’re new to Walgreens shopping, then learn how the Register Rewards program works and learn how to read this shopping list. Don’t forget that some other stores will accept Register Rewards like a manufacturer’s coupon. Also, it’s a good idea to print out Walgreens’ official coupon policy and keep it with you in case an issue comes up at checkout.
This is a starting list of deals for the week and is not a comprehensive list of every sale item and its coupons, but just the best deals (things at prices I’d actually pay). We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week, we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Walgreens is the one store where an advertised sale like “2/$4” usually requires you to buy two products. The first one rings at full price and the second product will ring at a lesser price to bring the total to $4, using our example. If you ever question whether you need to buy two to receive a sale price, ask the cashier to scan one item for you. If it rings at full price, then you know you need to buy two products. If it rings at the sale price, then you don’t.
Your turn: Which of the freebies are you most excited about?

The Black Friday Deals actually start on Thanksgiving Day, right?
If I have a coupon that says save $1.00 on 2 bottles of shampoo, does that count for 2 coupons? The gal at WGs said it did but I had never heard that before. Just checking, I’m not saying she was right or wrong but just that I had never heard of that before.
Jill–I have heard that the coupon attaches to the two items and then counts as two coupons.
I’m wondering the same thing Susan- what time on thanksgiving day do they start? At night I’m guessing?
I believe they start Thursday morning as soon as they open.
On the Old Spice, Gillette, and Secret deal that is: Buy 2 products for $7.50 get $5.00 RR back there is a coupon in the 10/30 P & G for $2 off Gillette Fusion Skin Care Product. If you use 2 $2 coupons it would be a $2 moneymaker. A second deal idea is using 2 of the $1 Secret Clinical Strength or BODY SPRAY coupons. Making them free.
And if you have an odd number of coupons, you can buy one of each product, and use 1 $2 Gillette coupon and 1 of the $1 Secret coupons :)
The Thermacare coupons say good on 2ct or larger so they may not work.
Also, Walgreens.com has the Philips Sonicare Essence toothbrush E5300 today for $34.99. You can apply coupon code SONIC10 to receive $10 off each toothbrush you put into your cart. In order to get the free shipping, you need to add something to put you over the $25 mark. I added a $0.99 box of kleenex. Then apply for the $10 rebate which was in the SmartSource insert last week. Brings the total price down to $14.99 and was originally $79.99. Great deal, IMO! I was going to pick these up on Black Friday, but buying on-line is even better…don’t have to fend off the crazy crowds of people.
Michelle – I don’t have my rebate form right here. Is there anything in the fine print that restricts it from being combined with other offers? That’s been pretty standard language on other Philips rebates, which is why I ask (I can check when I get back to my coupons).
I went. They did not have the Crest, the Culturelle,or the GUM brushes. But I got all the other stuff and maybe I will try another store tomorrow.
There is a 1.00 off any Revlon cosmetic coupon in the extra coupon book they have at Walgreens. I can’t remember the title of the thing. Its not the monthly one. I love this website!
You are correct. The Walgreens $1.00 off any Revlon item is in a booklet (found mine in cometics dept) “Make This Season Stunning”. Includes over $25.00 of Walgreens coupons. All expire 12/25/11.
I bought some of the Thermacares today. They rang up 2.49 and printed a $2 man. coupon, which the lady used so it cost me .49 for each one and then I got a 2.50 RR for each one. Made 2.00 on each one.
Heading out for a trip tomorrow and hoping to find a Walgreens out of town with less couponer-traffic. Seems they run low so often. :-/
The Revlon lipstick deal was terrific. My store had lots of colors. A $7.99 lipstick for free after coupon and Register Rewards is a super buy!
It’s late but just in case someone is reading this b4 heading out:
I spent over fifty dollars buf after all my qs the total was less and I still got the Holiday q for 50 cents off per gallon. It Holiday q) has expiration date of 12/1/11.
Thanks, Sandi!
I just received a gas Q also. My order was just over 30.00 + tax, but 14.xx after coupons & rr. Got a .30 gas coupon – expires 12/10/11.
HELLO EVERYONE I’M NEW TO COUPONING, AND I’M SO ANXIOUS TO GET THE REWARDS AT WALGREENS AND EVERYWHERE ELSE. I’M A MOTHER OF 7 AND CAN REALLY USE THESE GREAT TRICKS. I JUST HAVE ONE QUESTION IF I PURCHASED 10 ITEMS ALL RR AFTER RUNG UP WILL THEY ALL PRINT ON ONE RECIEPT?
I was in another state and did not recieve my gas qs for neither a 30$ or a 50$ purchase. Can anyone help? I am wondering if I call Walgreens if they will help? Or can I take this purchase to another store to get my rewards? Thanks in advance for any help
