Free Lunchtime Classical Concerts
The Schubert Club offers free lunchtime concerts weekly through April, 2012. Concerts are held Thursdays from 12-1pm at The Landmark Center in Courtroom 317. The theme for November’s concerts is “Virtuosity: Liszt and his Contemporaries.” The Landmark Center is located at 75 West 5th Street in downtown Saint Paul. Free Family Concerts at MacPhail
This Saturday, 11/5, MacPhail Center for Music offers a concert as part of their Free Family Series. New Orleans Jazz is the theme, and the concert features Jack Brass Band. Children will also get the chance to interact with the musicians and their instruments before and after the show. Concerts will begin at 10am and 11am. MacPhail is located in Minneapolis at 501 South Second Street.
