This week you can pick up free contact solution and find a great price on Tide detergent with the right coupons and this week’s gift card promotion. Plus, each ExtraCare card holder will receive a coupon for $3 off any $10 hand or body lotion purchase when you scan your ExtraCare card at the CVS coupon machine.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Bucks program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?

I just noticed that I have a $5 off a $25 coupon that expires today and I would like to know if anyone has tried getting the Sunday sale items on Saturday night? I would like to take advantage of the Sunday gift card items. I really need to get some diapers and this would help out. Has anyone been able to do this with the gift card deals in the past?? I am planning to go in and ask.
My store usually starts their Sunday sales on Saturday. I’d call and ask if they activated their Sunday sales yet. They should tell you.
They may also accept the coupon expired.
Technically on the Tide deal number 2…. with 5 Tides in the deal … it may not work due to the P&G restriction of “limit of 4 like coupons” per transaction. If your store enforces this, the deal would not work.
You’re right – I’ll fix the post.
Sorry to comment again but the Kraft Macaroni and Cheese coupon prints with a “redeem at Publix” logo and unless I am wrong, I didnt’ think CVS took coupons with competitors logos on them, even if it doesn’t say “redeemable only at”
Dmom–
It will.depend on the CVS location. Chanhassen and Eden Prairie both accept competitor coupons. They will even allow stacking a competitor store coupon with a manufacturer coupon.
Oh..that is good info to have since I could easily make it to one of those locations. Thanks.
does anyone know when the new store in New Hope on Winnetka/Medicine Lake opens? Thanks.
I’ve had luck with expired ECBs at both Woodbury locations
woops, wrong post – sorry!
the CVS store in New Hope is suppose to open the beginning of January. I was told that by the person who will be the manager of the new store.
Does anyone know of a CVS in the metro area that takes expired ECB’s. If so where and how long after they are expired are they accepted? Thanks
I was told that corporate wide they will take expired ECB’s one month past their expiration date. I go to the one in St. Michael and they follow this as does the one in Rogers.
Shannon – According to their coupon policy, they do not take expired coupons (although this does not specifically mention ECBs). I was told at both CVS’s I shop at that they do not accept expired ECBs at all, so I don’t think it’s a corporate wide policy. If it were, my guess is that they would put it in their official coupon policy.

I think it really varies based on who the head manager is. For awhile Eden Prairie said they wouldn’t take them at all expired. Then the managers changed and now as far as I know both Eden Prairie and Chanhassen will take them a month expired.
The CVS in Blaine (Radisson Road) takes EB’s, as well as manf coupons, one month expired. :)
It seems to me that the stores in my area are not as liberal with accepting expired ECB’s the way they use to. They must be crack’n down.
Does anyone know if the Glade Scented Oil Warmers come with a scented oil cartridge??
The ones for .99 cents do not.
The Pampers deal, it’s listed on Pocket for $8.50/Pack, but the ad states 2 for $19.00, less $1/2 coupon, so 2 for $18.00 after coupon (from this week). So the starting price should be $9.50/pack, buy two less $2/2 (10/30 PG) and it’s $8.50/pack?
Maplewood on White Bear Ave takes expired ECB’s. Just used some today.
Regarding the Spend $30 on Hallmark, recieve GC, I believe it’s all one promotion. Both pages listed the same ++ after stating “When you spend $30 on specially marked items++ on this page” I think all items go toward the $30 promo IMHO.
Jessie – I’m not sure as the top of page 9 says “when you spend $30 on these Hallmark items”.
there are glade coupons on the cvs website that can be stacked with manuf. coupons makes the gift card deal even better. They are $2/2
Little Canada CVS takes expired ECB for 30 days after the expiration, per 2 different clerks who told me last week
The WSP CVS won’t even take a manufacturer coupon if it’s got another store logo on it. I was shocked bc I thought that the issuing store was irrelevant on a manufacturer coupon.
Its in CVS’s new written coupon policy, unfortunately.
So does that mean the mac and cheese coupon will not work?
The $1/2 glade scented prints as a manuf coupon so you couldn’t combine as not a cvs coupon. Thanks
the Gain printable is not a coupon, you sign up for coupons and samples sent to you.
I don’t see the Xtra coupon in my SS 11/13. This is about the 3rd or 4th time this has happened recently. Does the St Paul paper just not get the same coupon inserts as Minneapolis?
