There’s no limit to how many they will give away or a specific time for you to enter the giveaway. The only requirement is you have to be a first-time Coastal Contacts customer.
With this promotion, you will receive the following:
- One free pair of frames with standard prescription lenses (choose from over 1000 eligible frames)
- Standard 1.5 index lenses
- Hard case

The only thing you will have to pay is the cost of shipping, which ranges from $10-$15, plus any upgrades such as bifocals, coatings, high index lenses, progressives or tints.
If you receive your eye glasses and don’t like them for any reason, Coastal Contacts will also let you exchange or return them at absolutely no cost to you.
How to Get Free Eyeglasses from Coastal Contacts
Coastal Contacts has grouped their eligible frames into one section. Browse them and find a pair you like, then follow these instructions to get your free pair:
1) Pull out your prescription for your eyeglasses. You’ll need to enter the measurements for your eyes.
2) You’ll need to enter your “pupil distance” or PD, which is the distance between the centers of your pupils. I had my husband measure mine and my glasses turned out fine.
3) Enter those items and the coupon code FIRSTPAIRFREE at checkout to get your free pair.
Please note that not all frames are eligible for the coupon code and there is a limit of 1 free pair of glasses per household across all free promotions (so if you’ve already ordered from CoastalContacts.com in a previous promotion, you cannot order again).

Is there a catch??
No, there’s not. I got my glasses from them and opted for a handful of upgrades – thinner lenses, anti-glare, etc. and paid less than $40 shipped. LOVE them!
Can you use more than one promo code together? I noticed the promo code FREESHIP2011 which is supposed good on any order but I didn’t know if anyone had tried using the two together.
I haven’t tried personally, but I don’t think it works – based on what I have heard from Coastal.com and readers.
