Greeting cards and iron supplements are free after Extra Bucks this week. Plus, you can print a coupon for $3 off any $10 cosmetic purchase of your choice from the CVS coupon center this week and pick up decent deals on Lipton tea, M&M’s, Pepsi 2-liters and more.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the Extra Bucks program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?

Thanks for the early list!
Free greeting cards are rare–thanks for the heads up.
With the $8/2 Covergirl coupon rom 10/2 Procter & Gamble insert and the $3 off any $10 cosmetic purchase of your choice from the CVS coupon center, it should make for some free make-up!
I’m in Michigan and I went to CVS to get the Buy 1 Pur-Absorb Iron Supplement (28 ct.) for $15.99, Get $15.99 Extra Bucks and Buy 1 Sparkle Paper Towels (8 pk.) for $4.99, Get $1 Extra Bucks.
Neither were on the shelves, but the pharmacist went in the back and found ONE of the Pur-Absorb and told me that their store only ordered 2 and had already sold one before I got the last one.
Then another CVS employee went to the stockroom to get the paper towels.
Just wanted to give a heads up in case you plan to buy these items.
My store did not have the Sparkle paper towels out either (there was a spot for them on the end of the aisle, but it was empty) – I asked and they did have them in back too. They are kind of small rolls, but I was completely out of paper towels (which of course, is when my children decide to be extra messy) so it’s a pretty decent price!
I couldn’t find the printable coupon on the link…is it gone? I did the deal without the coupon this time since I needed them.
Looks like the Sparkle coupon is gone–I didn’t find it either. Thanks for the update.
I went online to cvs.com to get my free $2 ECB for pledging that I am not a moneytrasher. I also used the listerine Total care Zero Coupon for $2/1 on the listerine Total care that was on sale for $3 off and it worked. This brought it down to $.99 (1.21 with tax in MN) Make sure to get on their website and pledge to not be a money trasher for your free $2 ECB, It will help and you just need to print it out. You should receive almost immediately. I did. GOOD LUCK!
Wow, the shelf price of the 250 ct Nature Made fish oil was about $19, so the sale, manu Q and ECB make this an AWESOME deal! Wish I could do that deal more than once. I take several fish oil/day.
I live in Minneapolis and didn’t see a $8/2 Covergirl coupon in my 10/2 insert. Was that a regional coupon or am I somehow missing it? Thanks!
Rachel – It was in the Star Tribune; if you get the Pioneer Press, you may not have gotten it. I’m not sure as I don’t subscribe to the Pioneer Press.
that was in p&g insert, i live in mn and i got it
OMG! Awesome clearance find… Just a heads up to anyone looking to stock up on detergent… I am not sure of everyone’s lowest buy guidelines but I checked earlier at CVS and they has the 32 load Cheer for $2.09! I checked around on other sites and some stores have these for anywhere from 75% to 90% off… Awesome. $2.09 for a bottle of detergent that’s regularly $8 is great! Oh and they have .50 cent coupons in 8/14 red plum making these $1.59 each!
Brittany – What a great deal! Thanks for sharing.
I picked some up for 75% off at the Woodbury CVS last night – it was $3.19 I believe, and then I had $1 off coupons from the Cheer game a few months back. Not quite as sweet of a deal, but pretty good! I’m very picky about my laundry detergent, but Cheer I will use :)
One great deal is missing from your list:
The buy one get one 50% off on all Sally Hansen wax kits or cosmetics. There is a $3 off one wax kit coupon here: http://sallyhansen.com/coupons . I was able to print two of them. I got my favorite wax strips for 1.49 each! I was able to find the .99 Hallmark cards as well, and the iron supplement. The Curel itch relief lotion was also a pretty good deal. There is a $2off/1 in the 10/9 smart source. You can combine it with the John Frieda products or by itself for the $3 ECB when you spend $10. Good trip for me!
Buy 4 Keebler or nabisco cracker cookies for $5 get $1 Extra Buck. There are $1 coupons in Facebook for wheat thins. $1 snackwell printable & another $1 at snack picks so could be free with 4 coupons & extra buck.
I looked those coupons up Dawn and they seem to be for larger size packages than are what included in this sale. Did you find different coupons than I did?
Dawn – I’m not sure all of those varieties are available at CVS. What did you find at your store?
That’s an awesome price for Finish Gelpacs! My previous buy price was $.15 each, so $.10 each is a great stock up price.
Erin – I shoot for $0.10 or less, too, although we saw some lower prices at both CVS and Walgreens last month.
Has anyone gotten the iron supplements? I have been to 4 stores (they seeem to be on every corner around here) and 3 stores were out and one store did not even have a shelf tag. I could get a raincheck but that is a pain too.
Thanks so much for these great CVS lists! I spent 1.76 yesterday and saved over $30!! Plus I walked out with 3 ECB. Love it!
I so agree, Tina!! These lists and CVS together make for amazing deals :)
