Walmart.com: Free Venus Holiday Gift Set After Rebate (Exp 9/30)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

You can get one of two Venus Holiday Gift Sets for free right now from Walmart when you purchase select products online or in-stores and submit for a mail-in rebate. Here’s how:

– Purchase either the Venus Series Holiday Gift Set Caddy for $9.88 or the Venus Spa Breeze Holiday Gift Set Caddy for $9.00. Both sets are available for preorder right now and ship for free to your home. Read the descriptions of the products on Walmart.com to see the slight differences between the two.

– Once you receive your order, go to this website and either choose your free magazine subscription (Allure, Glamour, Self, Lucky, Teen Vogue or W) or select “No Thanks” to get your $9.99 refund. You’ll also need to enter the redemption code from your package.

Note that the fine print on this offer states this:

“If you would prefer not to get a subscription, and instead prefer to receive a refund, please fill out the below form, and mail it along with the redemption card located inside your purchase package, and a copy of the valid receipt for this purchase within 30 days of making this purchase to Condé Nast Special Programs, P&G Basket Program, PO Box 37722, Boone, Iowa 50037-0722.

“A copy of the valid receipt for this purchase as well as the card inside the purchase must be included and mailed within 30 days in order to receive a refund, otherwise the refund will be denied. Offer valid from 12/31/10 until 9/30/11 and while supplies last. Subscriptions included with purchase are valid at $9.99.”

So, it looks like you need to mail in the receipt and the card to get your $9.99 refund; entering the promotion code in the box won’t be enough.

My guess is that you may also be able to find this product in Walmart stores; if you do, be sure that it’s specially-marked with a “free Allure subscription” to be sure you get the code.

Your turn: Which gift set did you choose? Are you going to get a free magazine subscription or the refund?

Tax is also added, just in case that matters to anyone. In my state it makes the total over 9.99 but not much, of course…an idea though would be to use ebates if you want a final cost of “FREE”. :-)

If the offer is until 9/30/11 and the product is not expected to arrive until 10/4/11 – 10/6/11 will it still qualify for the rebate?

  3. Julie says:

When I check out it says in order to use my visa cash card I have to participate in a program called verified by visa. I can not tell if there are any hidden charges or additional risks involved with this. Imput from others is greatly appreciated. Thanks

  5. Kay says:

Got mine in the mail today. Mine had 4 coupons in the bottom of the gift set as well as some small samples in the box. Enjoy!

I received my Venus Gift set and it will make a wonderful Christmas present. I was going to go to the website to input the redemption code, only problem is I don’t see a redemption code in my box. Are they referring to the order #? If any one knows I would greatly appreciate an answer. I was going to do this today so I would not forget.

  7. Deb says:

Thanks, I found my redemption code.

I just heard about this deal 3 days ago on October 21st. I am hoping i can still submitt for a rebate. It wouldn’t be fair to offer a rebate if it “expires” before a person receives their items. So , i head somewhere that they may have extended the expiration dates because I JUST purchased these items. I hope all the forms in the gift baskets don’t say submitt b4 Sept 30th. Ah, i hope this works out for me or i’ll so dissappointed.
