As you get started shopping at Target, we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week, we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons and browse Target’s weekly ad online. Plus, if you have a Target card, you can get 5% off your total bill when you use the card to pay.

Nabisco snack bags are a $1 a bag….This seems to be a good deal for school snacks.
I think you could make the Gillette Venus Embrace deal better if you use a $1 off target coupon when purchasing two Venus Embrace razors, bringing the total down to $3 each.
I can’t remember if I posted this deal last week, but Monopoly U-Build was on clearance for $5.04 at the Blaine Super Target. With the coupon, I spent $1.04!
That’s a great deal, cris. I love Target’s toy clearance deals–helps me spend less on presents.
Thanks for sharing, Cris! :)
I was unable to find the Banana Boat coupon. [edited] Thanks!
It looks like the Sally Hansen $1 off Nail care/colo and $2 Aveeno Target printables are gone :(
I love the Revlon beauty tool coupons! I have gotten overage at target several times using these coupons and they make great gifts! :)
I’ve checked two stores (Stillwater and Oakdale) and neither had the Scotch mini lint roller. Has anyone found it? If so, in which section of the store? I checked the travel-size section and the clothes-care section.
With pet stuff maybe??
Its in the cleaning isle, I believe by the brooms and mop stuff
My Target had peel off coupons on the Gillette Venus Embrace razors for a free shaving cream when you purchase the razor so I got 2 razors and 2 bottles of shaving cream for only $6 after coupons and gift card!
The Cub in Apple Valley at the end of pop aisle, with clearance items has ” Back To School” college totes with full size Gillette or /Venus shaving cream , body wash, razor , and mesh puff for $8.99. I used a $4.00 Proglide coupon to bring price down to $4.99. This square tote is a great use in storage of cleaning products etc. Retail value of whole package I’m sure is greater than $20.00. Excellant stocking stuffers also.
What about the Hormel Natural Lunchmeats 3 for $7. Sounds like a better deal than what is on the Cub list this week.
The Arden Hills Target (Lexington & 694) had Colgate Optic White listed at $2.99. If you had trouble like me with Rainbow’s deal and getting it for free there, you can use the new Target Coupon $1.50 off 1 Optic White (from this weekend) and the manufacturer’s $1.50 off 1 Optic White, and get the toothpaste for free at Target! I am going to check other locations as well and see if they are all the same price at this time.
Hope you all can find the deal!
There is a Target coupon in the 9/25 RP insert for $7 off Crest White Strips Professional Effects or 2 Hr Express and there’s a $7 manufacturers coupon in the 8/28 P&G insert (expires 09/30), so that’s $14 off Crest White Strips if you’re in the market for some.
The Oct All You coupon for Quaker Oatmeal (Chocolate Chip or Honey Bun flavor) is only for $1/1
The Scrubbing Bubbles One Step Starter Kit is on cut back through the 15th of October however, in order to received the $5 gift certificate the Downtown Target says you must also buy the refill which is $3.99. This means you end up spending $4.98 not $.99 after coupon and gift card.
Does anyone know how much the Crest White Strips are?
I purchased the Crest White Strips Professional Effects and they were $43,99 for a 20-pack. In addition to the two $7 off coupons, I also received a $5 Target gift card for this purchase.
Anyone know a good price for a laptop?
OfficeMax has one for $299 right now, but you have to check the stores to see if they have them in stock.
My suggestion for computers is to always check out Costco. They have a 3 month return policy with no restock fee (even if it is open, used….) and they extend the manufacturer’s warranty by another yr. Help with the technical part may be hit or miss so we first went to Best Buy, office stores…and researched on the internet, then went to Costco. There we did get decent help from the sales person and even more info from another customer.
Anyone know of any other coupons out there for the Lion King that is going to be released on October 4th?
I have the Subway $5 off and a Target $5 off(target one ends 10/4).
There is a Target coupon for $1/3 bags of mars fun size candy bars online and there was a $1.50/3 mars fun size candy bars in the paper this past weekend. Target has the bags on sale for 3/$8 so I got 3 bags of fun size candy bars for $5.50. I thought that was a good deal especially before Halloween =)
Thr scrubbing bubbles starter kits are avaiable at the Coon Rapids store for 9.99, and you get a $5 target gift card…using the $4 off coupon your final cost is .99…however, they day quantities limited…I bought 2…they also have the refills on sale for 3.99…sign below says purchase 1 and get a $5 target gift card on this item also…when I asked the customer service desk and the checkout lady they checked and said the deal was buy the kit and a refill to get the gift card. That is not what the sign says but they would not listen. In fact, the checkout lady lied to me and said she went back and there was no sign for that…then she told the customer service she was going back to check on it. Not happy with Target right now. I should have taken the tag to the cashier with me so they could not remove it.
I have been known to take pictures with my phone of deals like this, so that I have them handy and ready to go at the check-out.

Does anyone know if the Glad trash bags on sale are ordor sheild ones? I’m very low and Target has the 1.00 off ordor sheild. It would make it a better deal if so???
I have a question I am trying to interpret my Target receipt. Why do they add $5 before they give the $5 gift card? Doesn’t that negate the $5 they were giving you for buying a product?
Terri–
They charge you $5, credit you $5 and give you the $5 gc. Their receipts are confusing.
