Toy Testers Needed
Six Creative Kidstuff stores in the Twin Cities area are looking for kids ages 18 months to 10 years to test a variety of new toys on Sunday, September 18, at 5:30pm. In return, each tester will receive a free $5 Creative Kidstuff gift card and be entered into a drawing for a free $25 gift card. The locations that need toy testers include Galleria, Linden Hills, Maple Grove, St. Paul, Wayzata and West End. Each store needs a different age range, which you can view on this webpage which also lists each store’s phone number. You can sign up for this event in-store or by calling the store. Spaces are limited. **Note: It’s possible that all of the testing opportunities have been filled, but your store may still be taking names for a waitlist.

Free Curious George Event at Red Balloon
If you have a Curious George fan in the house (as I, Laura, do), note that the Red Balloon Bookshop on Grand Ave. in St. Paul is celebrating Curious George on Curiosity Day, Sunday, September 18 from 2-3pm. Kids can enjoy stories with the WonderWeavers storytellers and Curious George (a costumed character) beginning at 2pm with crafts to follow at 2:30pm. My 2 1/2 year old son who absolutely adores Curious George has a Curious George stuffed animal he calls “nunky” and takes to bed with him every night. I think he would love this event…too bad it’s during naptime!
