First-time Aldi shoppers, you’ll need to bring a quarter (not 25 cents, but a quarter) for the refundable deposit on your cart and bring your own grocery bags. They take cash or debit card, but not credit card. Find an Aldi near you.
If it helps you appreciate Aldi a little more, read Wikipedia’s article about them and learn that Aldi is owned by the parent company that owns Trader Joe’s. Don’t forget Aldi’s double guarantee too, where you will get a replacement product AND a refund if you are not 100% satisfied.
Your turn: What else will you pick up this week at Aldi?

Wondering if anyone has tried the lasagna and your opinion.
I have found that Aldi prices have increased in the past few months (along with other stores). They are still lower than some other grocery stores, but many of their staples have increased up to $.50. Has anyone else seen this?
Yep, I’ve noticed too but for the most part their prices are still less than other stores and they’ve also increased the products they have available (Asian sauces, better cheese selection, etc).
Noticing it here, too. For example, eggs are up about 30 cents in the past month alone.
I see shipping costs are up for a lot online retailers as well – I wonder if transportation costs are mostly to blame?
I wish I had an aldi near me so I could get these deals and help you with that queation :)
@val – which of the lasagna products are you wanting to know about – the dry pasta you use to assemble your own lasagna, or the frozen lasagna you heat in the oven?
I’ve found the dry pasta to be excellent – just as good as any you’d buy anywhere.
I thought the frozen lasagna was fine – not as “meaty” or as well spiced as say, the Stouffer’s type lasagna, but just fine for a quick and easy meal, and certainly cheaper than the Stouffers. I’d buy it again.
Hope that helps…

The Rosemount Aldi has hamburger buns & hot dog buns marked down to 0.39 cents per package. I was there this afternoon and they had plenty on the shelf.
You must be working off an old list here. I was at Aldi yesterday in Champlin. Oranges are $3.69 for a 3 lb bag and apples were $3.49. Nothing else jumped out at me here but I do think in general the prices are now significantly higher that your list here. Yes, every week I notice that prices are up. For example the oriental stir fry frozen veg (very good) were $2.99 forever and are now $3.49. To me, that’s a big increase all at once.
