You can drop off of used and new computers and cables for free Friday, August 26, between 2-6pm and Saturday, August 27, between 10am-4pm as part of the TechDump Computer recycling event. The event will take place at the Shops at West End in St. Louis Park and will benefit local nonprofit organizations. Donors will receive a gift bag filled with various offers from Shops at West End merchants and restaurants.

Free Science Museum Child’s Admission
The Science Museum’s popular King Tut exhibit closes on Labor Day, September 5, and if you are looking for ways to save on admission, the museum is offering one free child’s admission (a $16-18 value) with every adult ticket purchase to Tutankhamun: The Golden King and the Great Pharaohs exhibition. Annual Block Party in New Brighton
Christ the King Lutheran Church, located at 1900 7th Street NW in New Brighton, is having its annual block party tonight from 5-8pm. Everyone can enjoy free food, including roasted corn, hot dogs, popcorn and dilly bars, face painting, kids games and activities, music, and more. Emergency Foodshelf Network Annual Celebration
The Emergency Foodshelf Network’s annual summer celebration is tomorrow, August 25, from 5:30-7:30pm. The free event will be held at its New Hope location and will include refreshments, food, entertainment, and more. Guests are asked to RSVP on the Emergency Foodshelf Network’s website.
