Ebates is offering a whopping 52% cash back today only (7/26) on purchases made at Magazines.com. Plus, new signups to Ebates will get a $10 gift card to Barnes & Noble, Target, Home Depot or Magazines.com once you make your first purchase of $25 or more via Ebates (this offer also ends today, 7/26).
What this means for you is that you can get some great deals on subscriptions to magazines that don’t often go on sale. You’ll still pay the price listed upfront, but you’ll receive money in your cashback account that will be sent to you via a check once your balance is $5 or more. If you’re new to Ebates and receive the $10 gift card, that puts many magazine subscriptions at rock-bottom prices.
Some of the best deals I found were Time for $14.40/year and Entertainment Weekly for $7.20/year. Plus, you can use the coupon code XMASJULY to take an extra $5 off select subscriptions (code expires 7/31), which means you can get Men’s Health for $9.57/year, National Geographic Kids for $7.18/year, and more.
If those titles don’t float your boat, you can get a 2-year subscription to All You for $34.00 (before cash back). With the $10 gift card you’ll get as a new Ebates member with your $25+ purchase and the 26% cash back (All You is not eligible for the 52% cash back), that brings your total to just $7.58/year, or $0.63/issue!
Other magazine deals currently available include:
– free 2-year subscription to Bridal Guide
– $5 off select magazine subscriptions on Amazon.com, including Veranda for $10/year (exp 7/26)
– Shape $2.50/year with coupon code SHAPE
– O, The Oprah Magazine $10/year (exp 7/28) (Thanks, Nifties ‘n’ Thrifties!)
If you’re looking for free magazine offers, check out TradePubs specialty magazines (check back regularly as they periodically cycle through titles) and other titles offered by ValueMags. If you love coupons, then a subscription to All You magazine might make sense. You can order 30 issues of All You for $25 ($0.83/issue), which is the lowest price I’ve seen for it.
