Aldi Shopping List 6/12 – 6/18/11

First-time Aldi shoppers, you’ll need to bring a quarter (not 25 cents, but a quarter) for the refundable deposit on your cart and bring your own grocery bags. They take cash or debit card, but not credit card. Find an Aldi near you.

If it helps you appreciate Aldi a little more, read Wikipedia’s article about them and learn that Aldi is owned by the parent company that owns Trader Joe’s. Don’t forget Aldi’s double guarantee too, where you will get a replacement product AND a refund if you are not 100% satisfied.

Got tomatoes on vine yesterday. Very good. Also, Aldi is supposed to be carrying their brand of a product similar to Nutella but I can’t ever seem to hit the store on the days they have it in stock. (Cashier actually told me about it!)

    1. Marie

I saw the Aldi brand Nutella at the Crystal Aldi’s last week. But I have never seen it at the Elk River Aldi’s.

Does anyone know when the new Aldi store in Stillwater will open?

Fred’s has Ragu regular price 2.00. I have a .50 coupon. Fred’s doubles coupons up to .70 each Sat. So my .50 coupon will double and I will have to pay only 1.00 per jar. I also have gotten Lipton tea 24 count family size tea bags (2.00 per box) for the exact same price, using .50 coupons. Customer is only allowed one coupon per item per transaction. Additional coupons can be used but the price will double only once. I do 2 or 3 tranactions, sometimes one after the other if the line is slow. Or I have taken my first sale out to the car and come back in to do it all over again. Slows me down by I like the amount I save. They also carry a small container of Suave deo (next size up from trial) for 1.00. I had a few .50 that doubled when I did separate transactions. I got the deo for free.
