The kids aren’t out of school for the summer yet, but if you are looking for some inexpensive summertime activities, Regal Entertainment Group is offering tickets to select G- and PG-rated movies for only $1 as part of its Summer Movie Express promotion. Offer is available for any age.
Select Regal Cinemas, United Artists and Edwards Theatres will offer this deal on Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 10 a.m. Find a participating location near you.
For my readers in Minnesota, I am bummed to tell you there is not a participating Regal Entertainment Group location in our state. Hopefully, we will see another movie promotion similar to, or even better, than this one in the next month or so as we move closer to summer. I know last summer, Marcus Theatres, AMC Theatres and Cinemark Theatres ran similar promotions.
Your turn: Do you know of any other deals being offered for kids this summer?

I just checked out the website and it looks like there are not ANY participating theaters in MN…Bummer!
That’s too bad. Regal in Eagan has always had FREE Tuesday movies, 10 am every Tuesday. We’d really miss it if they discontinue it this year!!
Us too!
Marcus Theatres
MARK YOUR CALENDARS: There are now THREE DAYS for you to enjoy your favorite family friendly films for just $2!
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 10am from June 21st through August 11th
Looks like the only Cinemark Theater offering a summer program in MN is Mankato. And, the AMC has discontinued their cheap summer program as well – they are offering discounts on their first run morning matinees, but they don’t have a specific kid’s program.
Marcus Theatres is offering a program this summer.
Lakeville Theatre is offering a kids summer program as well.
