It’s an extremely slow week at CVS this week, one of the slowest we’ve seen in quite some time. The few deals you can pick up include free pantiliners and formula as well as inexpensive Excedrin products.
If you’re new to CVS, your first step is to learn the ins and outs of the ExtraCare program and learn how to read this shopping list. For those who use reusable bags, you may want to buy a green bag tag.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. We will update this list as readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store, we get emails with deal ideas or we read about other deals across the blogosphere. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Your turn: What other deals did you find this week at CVS?
Pocket Your Dollars is part of BeCentsable’s Grocery Gathering, a compilation of shopping lists for stores nationwide. If you want a shopping list for a store not covered by Pocket Your Dollars, then check out the Grocery Gathering.

I also have $1.50 off any Excedrin from the coupon spitter (received Saturday May 7th). Maybe you do, too :)
what time can you “double” up on deals on saturdays to get both this weeks and the upcoming weeks sales??? I want to double up on a few in lakeville today :) thanks!
Kierstien–I’m not sure. Give your call a store. If you plan on buying the Bic Soleil shimmer razor (sale $6.99 with ecb of $3 and use $3 mq from last wk’s ad)–watch for the razor to have free earbuds attached. The earbuds have a value of $18.99 and are package in a nice case!
At my store it is either 3:30 or 4:30, I don’t remember which.
I agree Carie the worst week I can remember at CVS – save your sense and spray coupons for Wags this week 2/$5 with $1 RR better than free this week
The sense and spray starter kits weren’t included at Walgreens when I went today…I think they were like $7.99/$8. :(
I saw that too. Disappointing as it does not specify in their ad which sense n spray is included. No picture or size stated.
Carrie,
Can we get the”print” option working on this list??
Thanks for the reminder Val :-) The “print” option is now working
JoAnna,
Where is last week’s mq that you referenced? In SS? RP?
the Bic Soleil shimmer razor (sale $6.99 with ecb of $3 and use $3 mq from last wk’s ad)
Val–
4/10 SS or 5/1 SS. One of the dates is for the men’s and one is for women’s–not sure which is which.
Great idea about donating the formula! Sometimes we need to be reminded to pay it forward. I probably would have passed over the deal without the friendly reminder. :) I picked up 5 free bottles today to donate to Life Haven.
Hey, I know that organization! You a member at ILC too? I always skip those deals. Will do them now!
:)
Can we use the Neutrogena Free Lip balm coupon at CVS? It says redeemable at walmart on it?
What about the $3 in extra bucks after buying a colgate multipack of toothpaste or toothbrushes? Not sure what the multipack costs, but I’d think that one of these plus one of the colgate coupons would be a great deal. Colgate toothpaste was free last week, but maybe the toothbrushes would be good this week?
Violet most of the multipacks at my store were $7 and more so even with a coupon and the $3ECB they seemed pretty spendy.
Good to know… they have some multipacks on their website for $4 but maybe these aren’t in store or aren’t part of the deal.
Question..on the CVS ad there is Gillette CustomPlus3 listed as b1 get 1 50% off. I have 4 B1G1F mq coupons for the same item as well as 2 mq that are $4.00 off and 2 mq that are $1.00. Is this a great deal and how would it work? I don’t use CVS alot but saw that in the ad…unfortunately, I have not seen anyone mention it in their posts about CVS this week. Thanks
There is a $1cpn for Orville in 4/17 SS for poppycock.
The CVS in St Michael is out of the brownie mix and the regular Similac ready to feed formula. The do have the Sensitive Stomach and the Soy ready to feed formula.
What’s a good price for the Reeses mini bags, etc.? This week they’d be $1.50/bag w/ a 2/2 MQ… last week they were $1 more. Just curious.
Does CVS take expired ECB’s?
Denise–
I have used expired ECBs at the Chanhassen and Eden Prairie locations.
Thanks, JoAnna! I will give it a try at the Brooklyn Park one.
Ask about the store policy for competitors coupons as well as their email coupons/coupon spitter outter coupons that have expired as well. The stores are all different as it’s up to manager discretion but really good to know. If you’re lucky you’ll get to use all these.
The Mitchum deodorant includes the clinical strength. $0.99 is a great price for clinical strength deodorant. There were still lots on the shelves at the EP CVS.
