As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. the Up and Up pain reliever coupon is .50/1, not $1/1 as stated above.
I could find the facebook offer for this. $1/1 Triscuits printable coupons (Facebook offer)
Anyone have better luck?
I found it, but it only lets you print it once.
Hmmm . . . I was able to print it twice.
The Glade $1.00 off Target printable coupon expired 3/17/11 (under on-going deals)
Does anyone know if you can stack the $1 Kraft coupon from the back page of this weeks cub ad at Target with the target printable $1.50 coupon if the one from the cub ad is manufacturs but says redeemable at cub?
Karla–some Targets will say yes and some will say no. Go to guest service and ask–hope they say yes :)
This might be a little shady and I didnt look at the CUB manf. coupons to see where their logo is printed, but on some of the ones that came in the rainbow book, when I cut them out I cut off the word RAINBOW so it just looks like a reg. manf. coupon…
Anyone Know Which Targets are Saying Yes & which say no
Savage Target accepted the manufactures coupon with the cub logo. I made sure I separated out the coupon from the rest and the cashier just scanned it. It went through just fine…
Yes I was able to do that today .
my target in RedWing allowed it.
Does anyone have the Bissell Steap Mop or Steam and Sweep? I am considering the Steam Mop (because it’s cheaper!) but I am wondering if anyone has it/likes it/hates it. Thanks!
Katherine,
I have the Bissell Steam Mop and like it alot but found out that it doesn’t work on my floors. I have old unsealed hard wood floors and you have to have laminate, tile or sealed hard wood floors. I am selling mine because I can’t use it on my floors if you are interested. I bought it at Target for $80.00 but will sell it for $45.00 if you are interested. I can send you pictures if you would like. Email me if you are interested at thanesthename@hotmail.com
I’ve had the Bissell Steam Mop for a few years now and I like it a lot. However, it is not a miracle worker. It will not get your floors as clean as doing it yourself on hands and knees. And, it will not pick-up anything, so you have to sweep or vacuum first. I use it on my kitchen linoleum, my bathroom tile, and my sealed hardwood floors.
I plan on buying 3 – Nature Made Vitamin D’s for $5.00 each
Using 1 – $3/1 Nature Made Vitamin D (All You)
Using 2 – $3/1 Any Nature Made Vitamins (both All You)
Using 1 – $5/3 Nature Made Vitamins Target printable coupon
Final Price: $0.33 each after coupons
I know it’s a lot of Vitamin D but I’m pregnant so it works out great!
Leah, I did a similar deal but I bought 2 vit D and 2 fish oil, using the 4 of the high value Qs from All You and 2 Target printables. I ended up getting those 4 for a total of $1.09 after all the Qs. Love it! I don’t usually buy vitamins at Target because they don’t do the B1G1 free deals like Rainbow or Wags, but this deal was fantastic! Happy shopping and congrats on your pregnancy. : )
Will Target price match from the CVS ad, even though the ad says “with card”?
If so, the Soft Scrub Total trigger spray is on sale at CVS for $2.50, so that should make it free, right? ($1.50 manu coupon plus $1 off Target coupon)
My Target won’t match CVS ads, but I guess some have had success matching the ads.
Just wanted to let people know about another source of target coupons. If you have a smart phone, you can download a free app called Shopkick. I did this back in Jan and have earned enough points to get a $10 Target GC, and they also have about 5-10 target coupons that change every 2 weeks are so (they are usually different than the ones in the texts from Target). Anyways, this week its BOGO goldfish and some other target brand coupons too. If you download the app and use my referral code bear2141 after you register, we both get an additional 50 points. even if you dont use my code, it is a very worthwile app!
I got a target baby coupon book in the mail yesterday with a $3 good start formula, making this weeks deal only $11.99 for the big can of formula! Half price makes me happy!!! If there is anybody out there who is not going to use their target coupon, please mail it to me!
Shoot me an e-mail and I will give you my address.
kim@kstewartphoto.com
kim- allyou.com has $5 off good start, printable. I believe it is in their coupon section.
There is a $2 Zantac Target coupon. That makes final price .49!
Out of Rimmel $2 off prints :(
At the Targets I’ve been to if you look for the steam activated cleanser from Biore, it has a $3 coupon banded to it if you buy the nose strips too. Match that with the B1G1 coupon from last weekend and it comes to $2.99 for the nose strips and the face wash.
Thanks for the heads up Kacy. That’s a great deal, and I like Biore.
I was able to print off 2 Triscuit coupons from facebook not 3 as stated above. Still a good deal with the two FB coupons and the one Target coupon
There were buy 2 get one free coupons on the 8 packs of powerade at the Chaska Target so use that in addition to the $1 off coupons makes it a pretty good deal if you like powerade.
I can’t find the Wheat Thins sticks coupon on facebook… is it only available to those who are just “like”ing it now?
http://instoresnow.walmart.com/enhancedrendercontent_ektid94172.aspx
Hope this link works…use this coupon along with the Target $1.50/2 Kraft Cheese products for a good deal.
It comes up under Walmart, but the coupon doesn’t print anything about Walmart on it.
Thanks for the link, but is it only for that “Touch of Philadelphia” cheese? Am I the only one that thinks this sounds disgusting?
Ryan, I don’t know why they needed to add cream cheese to the shredded (some requirement about introducing a certain # of new prods each quarter, I’d guess) but we got a pack and couldn’t tell much difference (used it melted on pizza though)
Rhonda, I wish this was a coupon for regular cheese. I haven’t tried the touch of philly cheese yet….sounds good, but I don’t have a Super Target here in Mankato and all they carry is the regular cheese :( I looked for this kind last week hoping for a good deal…I guess I could use it at a grocery store though :) Thanks for the link. It’s always helpful to have links to find coupons :)
At the Target in Roseville Gold n Plump chicken was on sale for $4.99 per package and paired it with the coupon for $1 off from http://www.pocketyourdollars.com/go/smartsource [link edited]
(page 7 on the smart source website).
Teddy graham’s 8 oz bag was on sale for $1.50. If you buy 2, and use $1.00/2 Nabisco teddy graham’s from the Cub ad (manufacture coup). $2.00 for both or $1.00 each.
Does anyone know if the huggies packs on sale are 48-ct or larger. I need size 5, the deal is better at target if I can use the target coupon and manufacturer’s. But will go to Walgreens if I cannot stack them as it is a better deal, but they need to be 48-ct or larger?
Heather – I doubt that you’ll find a size 5 jumbo pack with 48 diapers or more. My son is in size 4 right now and the jumbo packs don’t have that many (for any variety).
I went to Target in Hudson this week bought size 3 jumbo packs and they let me use my coupon even though it wasn’t a 48 count pack.
Yeah I didnt think they jumbo packs were 48 count. I am so used to buying diapers at Costco, but this site is so AMAZING I have been able to save so much more on diapers (and everything else)!!
Thanks Breanne ~ I will give it a try and see what they say?
I was able to use the coupon for a 48 pack as well at the Target on Suburban in st. paul. I also recieved a 3.00 target coupon at the register for my next puchase bringing the next pack of huggies down to 2.00 for the pack.
Last week at Target I was given major grief for using a catalina MANUFACTURER’S coupon from Rainbow Foods. The cashier called over a manager and the manager was rude and acted like she was doing me a favor by accepting it. Carrie, do you know what Target’s official policy is on taking manufacturer’s coupons with other store’s logos on it? I have used them several times in the past without any problems so this really came as a surprise to me.
Erin, I’ve tried using them before at Target and some cashiers act like I’m crazy for trying it. I clearly remember asking someone at the Bloomington MN Target Customer Service counter if they took them and she said “absolutely.” It would be nice if they all did it the same. You’d think they’d want to take it – wouldn’t they rather have us spend our money there over somewhere else? It’s not like we’re trying to do something morally or otherwise wrong by using that MANUFACTURE coupon there.
I had the same issue last week at my Target. I’ve used Rainbow catalinas there before without a problem but they wouldn’t take it last week. I don’t know if it’s a new policy or a new cashier (I don’t think I had seen her before).
Target has Special K (Meal) Protein Bars on sale for $4.50/box. Buy 1 and use $1/1 Special K Chocolate Caramel Protein Meal Bar printable (from Rainbows section). That is a great price for those.
I was able to print 4 Triscuit coupons but I used two different computers.
Danielle, were you logged into the same FB account just on different computers? I am at work now but will try that when I get home :)
Yes I was logged into the same FB account.
Just went to Target last night and scored some great deals.
The circo coupon works on clothing too, not just socks or headbands. I got my daughter a beautiful top with legging pants on clearance for $2.50 so I paid $1.50. Also got some pants for $1 and another top for 1.50
For some reason the HUGE boxes of Huggies (228 count) were on clearance for $30 and I had a $2.00 coupons and a Target $2.50 one. That made the diapers only .8cents a diaper!!
And they had the granola bars in the dollar section finially so I was able to get 3 free.
I also scored very cheap baby wash and A&D cream.
I was very happy with this shopping trip. OH, and they had the Cooking Creme on sale for 2.50 so with the coupon they were only $1. Worth trying for a dollar.
what baby wash did you get and what coupon did you use? thanks
Is there a certian day that Target changes it online coupons. I see the huggies Target coupon is no longer on the site and neither is the Triscuit one. I printed it out and somehow lost it. Went back in to print another today and they are gone. Darn!
Using two computers I was able to print 4 Circo coupons. I picked up 4 pair of socks for free and can now donate them. Yippee!
I know Target Edina will not accept mfg coupon if it says Rainbow or Cub on it…. got a lot of grief for even trying, and this is from a girl I know…
The Target in Lino Lakes doesn’t have the Kool Aide on sale for .11. Can anyone tell me what Target has this sale?
There’s a $4/1 fish oil coupon in the feb. Issue of All You. Makes them free with the Target printable. Well, hypothetically…unless you have a cashier who woke up on the wrong side of the bed, wouldn’t push it through, then rips it up and tells you it’s fake. But hey, I had the $5/3 target one and 2 other $3 off ones. So 4 bucks for 3 bottles..- can’t complain too much. I hope that cashier has a little better day tomorrow and I hope the deal works out better for someone else!
I can’t believe they would think a coupon from a magazine was fake! Did you talk to the manager? My coupon from All You didn’t work right either and the cashier tried to push it through, but when I looked at my receipt before I left the store I noticed it didn’t get taken off. I went to customer service and she found the coupon in his drawer and gave me the money back.
I didn’t have time to argue and I didn’t know if they’d be able to find it since she ripped it in half. Sigh. I try to be nice because you never know what someone is going through…maybe she was having a bad day, maybe she’s worried about her job, who knows. But 4 dollars is a lot!! Well, if nothing else at least I know who to avoid at Target now :)
Anyone seen or heard of Targets Spring – sweet deal mailer?
I used this list today! After getting into my Target, “locked and loaded” (I always say to my purse as I clasp the baby belt through the handles) and off I went on my excursion.
I had already eliminated unwanted sales(for now). I checked off ones that I didn’t have all the coupons for. I was left with a small manageable list. With list in hand, I found out half of the things were NOT on sale. Before I panicked, I utilized an end unit price scanner in hopes it was a “secret sale”. PANIC PANIC!! Deep breathing then I remembered my luck. Since this was my first time couponing in Target and only my second time ever, I had ALL my ManQ’s with me (yes, I carried the big binder and a letter sized Pendeflax thing for the store). So proceeded to spend the next three hours looking in an isle, finding what’s on sale and looking through all my ManQs and if I did, then I’d move to the StoQs. I’m new, this was HARD. After an hour and a half, I look in to my cart and realized…. I’m about to buy a bunch of stuff at normal price with only one coupon. Feels like a double whammy! LoL
I did manage to use 23 coupons today and my breakdown is: OT $77.18 – QT $27.58 = FT $49.60. So my spent/saved ratio is not where I want it to be but I contribute that to my newness. I’ll get there. ;o)
In this big ‘ol long story of mine is a question…. Where are we all getting the info for what is on sale and what isn’t? Do Targets hold different sales in different stores?
Julie Ann,
Which Target were you shopping at? And can you give an example of what you were trying to buy? That’s very strange about your Target. Don’t get discouraged! Target is a wonderful place to coupon… let’s try to problem-solve your experience!
Target in Chaska. Some of the things I was trying to get were the Kool-Aids, Old Orchard frozen juice and Kraft Shredded Cheese. I appreciate your help. This is my home store and I really want to find the best method for couponing there.
Hi Julie Ann-
Chaska is my Target too! I have noticed they tend to be a bit higher than some other locations. Target prices do vary a lot by region. Usually it’s not significantly higher, but maybe 5-25 cents. I figure due to the fact it’s a “nicer” area and there isn’t a Wal Mart close by to compete, they tend to price things a little higher.
Everything listed under “weekly deals” should match price wise, as these are advertised nationally. It’s just the “ongoing” deals where I tend to notice a little bit of a discrepency. Keep at it, it’ll get easier every time you go!
Brittany,
You’re in Chaska too! That’s great! Nice to “meet” a fellow Chaska Couponer! Thank you for that information. I’ll keep that information handy in my planning. What is your couponing method for Target?
The A&D Ointment at North St. Paul was 3.94 yet. No price reduction yet – I’ll keep checking on it.
I did get 2 pair of free socks, 2 Easter M&M eggs, Triscuts (50 cents each) and then found 3 pair of men’s socks on clearance for 1.48. Found some men’s underwear on sale and when I got to the checkout it was 1/2 the clearance price, so score on that! My husband was impressed with only paying 36 cents out of pocket, since I used 3 gift cards from a diaper deal.
Thanks PYD’s!!!
I don’t necessarily advocate doing this, but I had 2 BOGO Trident coupons. Being in a hurry and frazzled with a toddler, I ended up only putting 2 packs of Trident (rather than 4) in my cart. And, they took both BOGO coupons, making the gum free!
Anyone else having trouble finding the Nature Made vitamin coupon? I can find Nature’s bounty, but not Nature Made. Bummer.
I should say, I can find the Target ones, not the Manufacture ones.
Julie Ann-
I had the same prob at my Target in Mankato. The cheese wasn’t on sale and neither was the Kool Aid. I was going to get the boxed pudding, but they only had the big boxes instead of the small ones. Again I was wishing we had a Super Target here.
Once I got home I noticed that the cashier hadn’t taken off my $3 coupon for Zantac and I believe I had a $2 Excedrin one that I didn’t see anywhere either. (I will have to pay better attention) But I still managed to save $34 and only spent $17. I am also new at this, but I sure am loving all the deals I am getting :) Thank you PYD!!!
go back and let customer service know and they will take it off (or usually will) that’s $5!
Thanks for letting me know. I’m glad it’s not just Chaska. Sucks that they do that and it kinda screws up games plans. I’m very new to this and wonder if there is a good method for these Targets. Any ideas?
Julie Ann and Janna — it does get easier with time, especially on items that you buy on a regular basis. You will find that some things go on sale almost on a timetable and because some sales are the result of manufacturers giving the stores a deal, a lot of stores will have the same things on sale at about the same time. And yes, on items other than those advertised, you will find a lot of variation between the stores in the same chain. Today I went to 4 Targets looking for an item I got on sale at my regular Target — none of the other stores had it on sale. That happens a lot at Rainbow and Walmart too. Target has had a much publicized problem with coupons not ringing up for the right amount or for any amount at all. It’s best to check your receipt before you leave the store. I have even had a mistake when I bought four items, all alike, all on sale with the same price stickered. One of them incorrectly rang up the regular price. The Target people have been trained to deal with such situations politely so you should never feel timid about going to the service desk and getting either a correction or explanation. Target’s receipt is hard to decipher until you get used to it. Once you get the hang of it, it’s a lot of fun– like shopping with someone else’s money.
Thank you for the reassurance! I’m really excited about this and getting discouraged right out of the gate was kind of a blow but knowing that “it happens” and it wasn’t something I misread or did wrong is encouraging. Thank you!
I also had price differences at the richfield super target, was pretty bummed, kraft shredded cheese was over $3 and I know Mpls Lk. St. is usually just over $2 also got it at stinson blvd for about $2. I did get the crayola thing for .48 after coupon. And I have to go back 2 of my coupons are not on my receipt!
I got a great deal on pull-ups today. I had a $3 coupon and a $2 coupon for the deal 2 for 16. Then I got another coupon at the regester for 2.50 off pull-ups. thank u so much for helping me save money. I am also new at this but I am liking the amout of money I am saving…and so is my husband;)
I went to Target last night and got some stuff for my sister to take on her annual mission trip to Africa in July…. i was able to get 102 pair of colorful gloves and 28 skull caps for only $27.77! Gotta love Target clearance! (They were on clearance for $0.37 for two pair packs and then used my Red Card for another 5% off.)
Also picked up several free nail clippers (after coupons) and two free boxes of Benefiber stick packs (after coupons).
It was a good trip!
Oh and I didn’t clean out the shelves (though it’s a great cause)… there were TONS left! (Oakdale Target)
