My personal IT guy advises me to use Panda, so I bought it at full price (gasp!) last year. I have been very happy with this product on all three computers where we have it running and am glad that my lovely readers can now get it for free.

For what it’s worth, I have used AVG Security(free version) for the last 3 or 4 years, and I’ve been very happy. I switched after I got sick of Norton products taking over my computer with bloatware. If you go to the AVG website, it can be (understandably) tricky to find the download link for the free version, but I’ve been very happy with the product.
