Open Mic is a post every Thursday that is a mini-version of a discussion board. You can leave a comment with whatever coupon, money-saving or debt reduction tips or questions you have and other readers chime in and answer.

When you leave a comment on this post, you’ll be able to choose whether you’d like to be emailed follow-up comments or not. Getting comments via email is a great way to stay connected without having to visit the site a bazillion times (although I don’t mind if you come a bazillion times).

As always, I look forward to hearing the voice of the Pocket Your Dollars community. Read through the Open Mic archives here.

Your turn: Leave a comment with your money-saving, coupon or debt reduction question, thought or suggestion.

Two tips: 1) If you are reading this via email or an RSS feed, click on the title “Open Mic” to come back to the site and leave a comment and 2) If you are concerned about your privacy, just reference yourself by your initials and know that I will not share your email address with anyone else.

Did anyone else buy the McAfree Anti-virus software through NewEgg (with the $50 rebate)? I got mine last week in the mail and it won’t install? Wondering if anyone else was having problems? My IT guy at work tried to install it and said it looks like it may be fake or a knockoff…

So I know that it’s way past Thursday and there’s probably no one checking this anymore, but I wanted to ask before I forgot. My parents want to give me and my husband a double stroller, but I know pretty much nothing about them. Anyone have any suggestions for types/brands/etc.?

Laura- I absolutely LOVED my Kolcraft Contour Tandem double stroller. I mean when I say LOVED I mean it!!! Never have I been more in love with a stroller. Here’s why I loved it. The seats configured many different ways. You can have two children sit facing each other, back to back, front to back, have an infant and a toddler. The seats pop on and off easily to switch. Also the stroller has two handles on the side so if one didn’t want to sit and wanted to walk they could hold on. It stears great!!! For a double stroller I could always manage in a store with tight racks!! And the basket underneath is HUGE!! The other thing I absolutely loved was the hoods FULLY covered so the sun was out of their eys!! But if the sun was the issue we could just turn the seats around and that solved the problem too. I’m telling you it was a DREAM STROLLER!!! Here is a link
      http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=en&q=Kolcraft+contours+options+tandem+stroller&bav=on.2,or.r_gc.r_pw.&wrapid=tlif130135068477310&um=1&ie=UTF-8&cid=226762480642081426&sa=X&ei=RAmRTbGjOISbtwe4qqSICQ&ved=0CDAQ8wIwAQ#
It was worth every penny. Someone actually got it for me. Now as far as heaviness, it is a little heavy but I figured I was hiking a mountain with it just lifting it into my car. And if you pop the seats off it makes it lighter and easier to fold up. But any double stroller is going to be heavier.
Okay, I’ll stop now but I LOVED that stroller. I’m actually thinking of getting the single option one for my new baby.
