As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.
Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.
Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons and browse Target’s weekly ad online. Plus, if you have a Target card, you can get 5% off your total bill when you use the card to pay.
Your turn: What other great deals did you spot?

Clorox coupons from FB are all out.
Can’t find the target coupon for Palmolive dish soap in the 2/13 ss. Perhaps just a coupon we didn’t get outside of the metro?
I got it in the Star Tribune, but not in the Pioneer Press.
I cant get this one to work it keeps asking for zip code, city ect.

Not sure where this store if located entered in several MN zipcodes I know and the no luck..
I think the Charmin final price should be $11.24/ 30 roll pack (not $10.99) making the price per roll just slightly more @ 37.4 cents. Still a good deal!
So I have a question how do you figure out the price of the roll. Do you divide by how many rolls you actually get or by how many rolls it equals. I just struggle finding a rock bottom price on paper products.
Thanks for the help~
Id like this Info also about tolit paper
Do you know does Target do like a 30 day price gaurntee? I bought an carpet cleaning 2 weeks ago and see this week it is on sale for $20 cheaper and comes with a $30 gift card. Can I take my recipt to the store and ge the same deal?
Amber–they have a 2 week price adjustment policy. If the item goes on sale within 2 wks they will reimburse you for the difference. I am not sure about their policy for the gift card deal. Call your store as some stores may allow and others won’t.
I have returned with my receipt and got the price adjustment. I believe it is 30 days.
Jane–the price adjustment policy is 2 weeks. You can buy the item on sale and receive the gift card and then turn around and return the brand new carpet cleaner with the old (higher priced) receipt. This is a way to get around their price adjustment policy. Some may or may not agree with the level of ethicacy of this process.
Before purchasing a new one I would go to the CS desk and explain the situation as I have had them do a price adjustment without the hassel and being a few days beyond the date. It will depend on who is working but usually the register will do it beyond the date.
For the Classico & Eat, Pray, Love DVD there is a $1 off 2 Classico printable coupon available here after filling out a short form-
http://offers.classico.com/Coupon/?utm_source=AllRecipes&utm_medium=Banner&utm_term=1off2&utm_content=White_Generic_Flash&utm_campaign=IMP_2010
Also, to make the deal even better the Classico had a hang tag for B2G1 free coupon, I used it with the $1 off making it $3.98 for DVD and 3 pasta sauces.
RE: TRESemme Deal That is an REALLY good deal!! Tressemme comes in a big bottle…. like 32 oz. Unfortunately, the coupon link says no longer available.
I was at Target in Roseville yesterday and they had a price cut on Sutton & Dodge boneless beef ribs. Regularly, $5.19/lb on sale for $1.99/lb. I have some cooking in the crockpot right now for our Valentine’s Day dinner!
Carrie or Laura,
Is there any way to do the “printable list” feature just on the “On-going Deals” section of the store lists?
The GE light bulb coupons are for a multipack, There are no multipacks near $5.00.
The Gain coupon is in the 2/13 RP, not the SS. FYI.
I did the Eat Pray Love DVD/Classico Deal, and am now filling out the form, but just noticed that it says “offer may not be combined with any other offer”. I haven’t seen that on a rebate before–does that mean you can’t use coupons on the items purchased?? That would be a bummer :(
The TRESemme Coupon is working again I just printed it.
The bottom front page of the Star Tribune 2/13/2011 lists 7-9oz Oscar Meyer Deli Fresh Lunchmeat @2.69 and the actual Target ad lists it @2.79. I’ll be taking the front page with me to Target :)
I was at Target Eagan yesterday and they had Green Works all purpose cleaner for $2.74 (regular price) with a coupon for $2/2, bringing them down to $1.74 each. This seemed like a good deal to me. I don’t use it but my Mom does, and when I called her from the store she had me pick up 4 of them so she thought it was pretty great.
The coupon expires 3/1/11.
Target has 30oz Palmolive for $2.5 plus use .75 off 1 Target coupon from 2/13 RP (I think it was RP) and .35 off from coupons.com. Final price is $1.40 for 30oz of dish soap. Not too bad in my book.
Carrie, Is there a way you could put a box on the right side of the comments we could put a check mark after we read it, so we don’t have to continually re-read the posts? Just a thought.
I read the posts from the bottom up (most current) and when i get to one i recognize, i stop. That way I don’t have to reread all of them. Hope that helps.
Finish Quantumatic Starter Kit $2.49$5.00
Use $3/1 Finish Quantumatic printable available on “Special Offers” tab after registering
Final price: As low as free after coupon
I went and printed off the coupon and am having a hard time finding the specific product in stores. What exactly is the starter kit? and where do you find it? how much does it cost?
New to this site, I have been using a lot of double coupon techniques.
My sales of the week was .29 Welch’s healthy start juice!
Thanks so much for your site!
Market Pantry Pasta Sauce is on sale for $1.
I just came from my local Target in West Saint Paul and was told this….They are no longer accepting more than 1 Manufacture and 1 Target coupon per visit. Not sure how or why this is possible. I bought 4 Degree Deodorant 1.97 ea. I had 2, $2 off 2 coupons and 4 .75 cent manufacture coupons. They said in the future I can only use 1 coupon of ea. period. She even called the manager to clarify….I also bought 4 Wishbone dressing that had a store coupon of $1.50 off 2 of which I used 2 off and $1 of two manufacture of which I also used 2 of. According to them only 1 can be used in the future. Has anyone else run across this recently. Sounded like it was a very new policy. I sometimes buy 20 of an item with a store and a manufacture coupon. They will lose me real fast as a customer if they stick to that policy.
The Target’s I go to usually only allow one like Target coupon per transaction. For the manufacturer coupons you can usually use 4 of the same coupons/transaction but I have never heard about anything about it be limited to one, that part would be new to me!
Yea they said it was a new policy just started , whatever that means. But I don’t buy one of anything so they will lose a lot of business if that happens. Furthermore why does the coupons at Target allow you to print 2 if you can only really use one anyway.
Thanks for the heads up. That is my Target and I’m heading there tomorrow for my twice a month grocery shopping. If they refuse me my stack of coupons I am not going to be a happy camper.
I had no trouble today at the West St Paul store using a stack of coupons. I had 20 coupons total and none were questioned. I went to my usual checker.
I frequent this target as well. I called the Guest Services department and was told that they accept one Target and one MQ per item. I asked if there was a limit per visit and they said no, just a maximum of 1 TQ and 1 MQ per item. Not sure why some people think the policy changed?
I just got a great deal at Target on Crest Whitestrips. From their “stock up” stuff they have them marked down to $18.68. In a fairly current insert, sorry I don’t know which one, I found a $10 off manufacturers coupon and a $5 off Target coupon. Yay!!!!
Do you know where you found the $5 off Target coupon?
It is in the 1/23 RP.
Otsego Target had Crunch Nut Cereal for $2.99…..they raised the price!!! This happens a lot at this store……a good coupon comes out and they raise the price on that item. At first I didn’t want to believe they were raising the prices, but it happens all too often. They did this with the Quaker Oatmeal too.
On select Classico sauces at Target there is a buy 2 white sauces, get 1 red sauce for free coupon hang tag. So you could do the Eat Pray Love DVD deal idea, and get an additional free pasta sauce.
The 3/1 Gain coupon is for fabric softener or dryer sheets; there is a 1/1 coupon for detergent.
I have no luck trying to find the 40oz Skippy PB.. I have been looking for it since Monday and have been to 3 Targets. I even scanned them to see if they were unmarked like the Chobani was for me the other month. Anyone have any luck finding the deal here in MN? I have several $1 off Skippy PB coupons from a safeway coupon book that I am itching to use. thanks!
where do you get safeway coupon books?
Sanda- My mom lives in AZ …I have her send me stuff. :-)
I found a great deal at Target today for Milkbones dog treats. They are on sale at Target for $2.40/box. Then I had a coupon for $1.50 off 2 boxes PLUS another coupon for a free bag of soft and chewy treats ($2.79 value) with the purchase of 2 boxes. Both coupons were from the 2/13 paper. I paid $3.30 for 2 boxes of regular milk bones AND a bag of Soft and Chewy dog treats – a great deal!
The Target in Rochester, MN has 7th Generation laundry and dish soap on sale (30% off). If you go to their website you can print a $1.00 off coupon. I paid $1.78 for a bottle that does 21 loads.
Can’t find the Target coupons for Women’s of Men’s Degree deodorant, Dove Ultimate or the Wishbone dressing. Anyone else having the same problem?
They’re actually on redplum.com vs the Target website. They print off as Target coupons just like the ones on the Target site though. Hope that helps!
[...] out We Use Coupons and Pocket Your Dollars for more Target coupon match-ups and Target deals valid this [...]
Just a couple notes:
Large jars of Skippy were not on sale at Chaska, just the smaller jars were $1.89. I scanned to make sure and no luck.
Lipton 16 count tea bags were 1.09 vs. 1.67. 2 free after the RP and Target coupons!
I also want to thank the coupon fairy that was out in full force at Chaska SuperTarget…I was wandering around looking for clearance while waiting for an rx to get filled…there was coupons EVERYWHERE! Got some cheap toothpaste, so if you’re reading this, I thank you! :)
Thanks Brittan,
That helps a lot and saves me a lot of time!!!
What paper do you get the All You Magazine in? I’ve never seen it.
It is a magazine subscription, you can subscribe all over the place online or pick one up in person at Walmart only.
I have been told a couple different times by my cashiers at Maple Grove North Target that they now accept expired coupons (which I already knew) BUT are taking Target coupons that are expired also. I doubt it is an official policy, and don’t know what the length of expiration it includes, but I had 2 $5 Shaun White shoe Target coupons that were expired but was able to use, and got 2 pairs of shoes clearanced 75% off at 6.68, so only paid 1.68 a pair! (reg price 28$) Also, had 2 coupons for Shrek: Forever After for 5/off that expired 12/25. It is on price cut at $9 this week, so picked up 2 copies for $4/each! Great price for such a new movie! Also, 4 packs of vitamin water are on price cut for $2.79. If you are lucky to find those with hang-tags, they have Target coupons on them that are B2G1 Free. The Rainbow add has a Man coupon for $3/off 10 bottles of Vitamin Water. I was able to use this when buying the 4 packs (3 comes to 12 bottles) and got 3 4 packs for $2.58!! ( .21/bottle)
Burnsville Target had 2 lb bags of Walnuts- in the shell- for .99. They are in the produce department and they had a lot left as of Friday.
I can’t find the 4$ coupon for the eat pray love dvd
My Target trip today was a disaster.on Saturdays (downtown Mpls) I go early about 8:30, just so I can take my time before the crowds start. I did my shopping and was finished and at the register about 9:15.The first thing she says is “here’s the lady with the coupons”. This is the cashier I have gone to the last couple of times w/o any problems. She rings up my purchases and I hand her the coupons manuf. then Target/Target web coup, plus 1 raincheck. She tells me that 1 target coup is expired(ok fine no problem) she then takes my $4 item for which I have A raincheck for sale price $2 minus $1 manuf coup minus $1 Target web coup and tells me i owe $2 for the item. She then gets upset because I said to check the original price I was charged and there is the problem. She shows me she gave you cr for the manuf coup/Target coup but never shows original $,now I am mad and I just want to leave and go to customer to resolve it, she will not ring me out,she keeps trying to explain, so I see the line getting longer and people are starting to stare. I asked her for the manager and I told him all I want to do is check out and I DO NOT want an explanation about anything, the cashier then proceeded to tell him the same thing. Finally he told her to ring me out. As she gives me my receipt she says “you saved a lot of money with those coupons”. Simple math $2-$Target q-$1 manu q=0+tax.I was in that store until 10:00. i wrote a letter to corporate before sat down here.I will give Target 1 more chance, I’m loyal because they do a lot for the communities:)
Thanks for letting me sound off
***ALERT***I was at Super Target in Blaine, and several listed items were NOT on sale:
Palmolive dish soap, Ortega seasoning packets, Kraft shredded cheese, kellogg’s crunchy nut cereal. And Gain is NOT on sale, it’s on CLEARENCE for 5.94$ w/ the 3/1 coupon brings it to 2.94$. I know I wasn’t the only one noticing this either, another women looked at the palmolive shelf and then the same coupon, and murmured “hmm” and relied yeah it’s not on sale, she walked away saying bummer….. :-(
