You can also earn bonus recyclebank points by clicking on the Naked Juice advertisement on the recyclebank webpage. Initially, it will give you 10 bonus points for putting the plastic bottle into the recycle bin. After that, if you watch a short (less than 1 minute) video and put 4 bottles into the recycle bin, it will give you 30 bonus points.

I can’t find the “saw us on TV link.” Could it be gone already? I did do the Naked Juice games and got the 40 points – thanks Michelle!

As I was reading information from Recyclebank on how to reduce waste, I was struck by the irony of the Kashi coupon. On the site, I found the following information:

    “The Scenario
It takes a gallon of oil to produce one ink cartridge, which we dispose of 13 every seconds on average. The average consumer uses 1.5 pounds of paper every day, meaning you can go through a ream in just a few weeks.”

I found it ironic that when my Kashi coupon printed, 1/3 of the ink used on the page was for the coupon and 2/3 of the ink was used for additional advertising. Kashi is send a mixed message- save ink, but not with us????
