Free Haircuts at Supercuts Studio Training Facility. Complimentary haircuts will be offered this week on Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Call for an appointment on Thursday (appointment slots are from 2-5pm) or just walk-in on Friday (be sure to call in advance to check on wait times) from 10am-1pm and 2-4:30pm. Saturday walk-in times are 10am-1pm and 2-4pm. Location is 3750 Thurston Ave in Anoka through the far left entrance to the Retailer Services Corp building. Theatres at Mall of America Free Family Flick. This Saturday, 2/26, bring the family to see Cats & Dogs: The Revenge of Kitty Galore for free starting at 10am. Seating is first-come, first-served.

Teams from all over the world will compete in the finals of this tournament on Saturday, 2/26 starting at 11am at Normandale Lake Park in Bloomington. at The Oval (2661 Civic Center Drive, Roseville, MN 55113). Also the camp fair at Como was is the age for this?
Sally – I got my hair cut there last summer and the cut turned out just fine. The wait was a little long (and the place isn’t a normal studio, so be forewarned), but for free (plus tip) it wasn’t a bad deal.

Does anyone know where at Como the Camp information will be? We gave our son a week at camp for his birthday this year, this would be a great way to check out a few.
I got my hair cut there once and it was fine. I just got an inch or so cut off, it took about an hour, but I thought it was worth it since it was free(just paid a tip). If you don’t have to drive far, it would be worth it in my opinion.

Free Dr. Seuss storytime at all Target stores 9 to 11 on Saturday (it was in their Sunday ad this week). Free Elmo’s birthday party at 2 p.m. at Borders — go before they close all the stores on the west side of the Twin Cities. :(
Another free event this Saturday (2/26 from 9am – 5pm) is the Tech Fest at The Works Museum in Edina.

i got a free haircut at some sports haircut joint in maple grove (in the strip mall in front of cub foods.) i saw the ad for it in the men’s room at a downtown osseo bar. text ProCuts to 80676 and you may get a text message back for a free cut and free american crew product. (the offer was valid on saturday afternoon.)
i went saturday at 5:30, 30 minutes before they closed, it was busy, but i was seated immediately. adult haircuts are $18, youth haircuts less. she cut my hair then washed it with a hot towel for my face and finished with the cheesy little massaging tool on my shoulders. overall not a bad experience for a few bucks more than great clips or the other chains that charge $14 or so for a walk in haircut. i received a bottle of body wash as my free AC product.
