If you haven’t noticed, we added a new printing feature to all the shopping lists at Pocket Your Dollars. Each item has a check box before it. Click the boxes for items you want to include on your shopping list, then select “Print my list” at the bottom of the list.You can print a separate list for each store. We actually had to deactivate the printing list feature because it caused the website to crash earlier this week :(
As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.

How does it work to use a manufacturer and a store coupon? Doesnt the register alert when you use more than one coupon per product?
Jessica – Target’s official coupon policy allows both one store coupon and one manufacturer’s coupon to be used on one item. Does anyone have or know anything about the Bissell Sweep N Steam? Does it work like a regular vacuum, but you can steam clean as well? Our carpets are a disaster, so we’re considering this option :)

On the vaseline lotion (the one listed directly under the “yellow mustard,” the only coupon on the Target coupon website is the $1 off the Intensive Rescue lotion. The other link takes me to coupons.com where there is currently no coupon for vaseline lotion. When I look at the coupon database, it says there are two Target coupons (one for $1 and one for $1.50). Anyone had any luck finding two coupons? Thanks!

Has anyone else been having the same problem when you try to print your coupons and it says your “coupon activator” needs to be installed… you go thru the install and it says it installed correctly, but I can never print them! This has happened to me for 3 weeks now and I have been printing them before no issues??? Anybody else have this? and any solutions…
Jenn, yes I’ve been having the exact same problem! Never had a problem until a month ago. I have Firefox on my computer so I just use that browser to print the coupons instead. I haven’t figured out why I have a problem on IE. Sometimes it works and then other times it doesnt. If you don’t have the Firefox browser, it is completely free to download (just do a google search for it) and is easier to use. I also am able to print Smartsource coupons on Firefox since for some reason my Internet Explorer won’t let me use Java (i’ve tried everything).
I have the same problem with my home computer. I will have to try out firefox since I usually use IE and I never got it to work.

I noticed when this started happening it says something like please be patient for your coupons to print, so I waited for about 5 minutes and didn’t touch anything just let it think and it worked….they printed. Maybe try again and don’t close any windows if it doesn’t print right away, let it sit and see if they come out.

I got the Target coupon book in the mail. I asked my friend if she would let me have the Stayfree Target coupon – it appeared she had the same book, however it was Kotex and not Stayfree. Does Target have different versions that they send out?

Correction–the Kikkoman coupon listed on their website as being for any marinade is actually $1 off any of their products.

I’ve used coupons over the value (price) of the said product lots of times at Target. They will just “over ride” the price giving you the price that they have. You will not get any money back. Make sense?

The Alpha and Omega DVD is on sale at Walmart for $16.96, I believe. I know it was$16 and something anyway, so it would be cheaper there with the $5.00 coupon. I am not sure what the Blu ray price was.
Regarding getting Target coupons to print. I had the same problem. I kept installing the coupon printer, selected my coupons and hit print and nothing happened. This was using IE. I downloaded Firefox onto my computer and installed the coupon printer through that and wa-la! coupons now print!!
I’ve been away…so am just learning about the print option for these lists…i tried printing this target one (clicked on the boxes of the items i wanted) and only about 1/2 printed. when i went back to try the other ones, i got the message that i hadn’t clicked on any items to print…??

The SuperTarget in Otsego has the 3-pack of Ortega taco seasoning on sale for $1.00 for a 3-pack. I used the $1.00 off of 2 Ortega coupon and paid only $1.00 for 6 packs of taco seasoning – that is only 16 cents each!
They were out of the Iams cat food. I asked about a raincheck and they said since it was a “price cut” and not a sale they don’t do rainchecks. The shelf tag said the price cut was through 2/5. I hope they get some more in before then- I would like to get a few cases and donate some to the animal shelter.
I am trying to use the new print feature for printing a shopping list. It is not working. I keep getting this message “You tried going to http://www.pocketyourdollars.com/wp-content/plugins/mile51-select-and-print/php/process.php, and it doesn’t exist. All is not lost! You can search for what you’re looking for”. I am using a MAC. Is anyone else having problems?

At my Target (Savage) tonight they had the Archer Farms spiral cut hams for .99 cents a lb. No coupons, but still a really great deal, I think they’re regularly $2.99 a lb.
Good Target deal: Right now they have 100 calorie packs on Price Cut for 2.33. If you buy 4 and use the target coupon on their website for buy 3 get 1 free, plus two of the 1.00/2 coupons from the Cub green and blue coupon book they come out to $1.24 a box. Not bad for those particular snacks!
I can’t get the gold n plump coupons to print, they say I’ve already printed my max # of prints even though I hadn’t printed any. Also the cookies and milk one is out of prints.

Carrie and Laura – thanks so much for the match-ups this week (and every week!). I rarely use coupons on travel sized items because I often find you got more fluid ounces for free by using the coupons on full size things (Tide for instance, toothpaste, etc). However, I really like to keep those Shout wipes in my purse for “emergencies” – they work amazingly well, and I love getting them for free. So thanks!
I also was glad to get a package of lightbulbs for 5 cents or so. Silk soymilk for $1.75, and I got Kraft cheese 2% singles for $1.79 instead of $3.29.
And thanks very much for the Orgega matchups. I prefer making my own taco seasoning to make it salt free and cost -effective, but in a pinch, it’s so nice to have the envelopes. Getting a box of 3 of them as well as some Taco sauce for $1 total was very nice. And you can’t make them for that price I don’t think.
Just a note, it is worth scanning those clearance things right now because I think they can’t keep up with their mark-downs. As bad as they are : ), I sometimes buy the cookie dough blobs that are ready to just go on a cookie sheet because I never know when I’ll suddenly have extra teens in my house. They had Monster Cookies & Choc Chunk ones (Market Pantry or Archer Farms brand) for a clearance price that wasn’t that great. But I scanned them and found them considerably less. I think I got 30 cookie dough blobs for about $2.00.

I am not sure if I am doing it right, but I registered for the RecycleBank to get the $3 Kashi coupon, and the only one they have listed is a $2 Kashi coupon when you cash in 70 points. Has anyone else had problems getting the Kashi coupon?
Erin – It’s possible that the $3/1 Kashi coupon has been maxed out.
Not sure if my previous comment posted… Was wondering where the target prescription and $10 gift card coupon is located. I cannot find it in the Sunday Target ad/pamphlet nor in the little coupon book they send by mail.
