*HOT* Get $20 Amazon Gift Card for $10 (1/19 Only)

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

Today Living Social is selling $20 Amazon.com gift cards for $10. I don’t have to tell you twice that this is a great bargain. Limit of one gift card per person. You are buying a gift card, according to the wording on Living Social, not some other kind of credit; I assume that means you can use the gift card to buy sale items on Amazon without a problem. (Thanks, Janice!)

There is a limited quantity of these so don’t delay if you are a frequent Amazon.com shopper.

I’ve mentioned before that we are saving money to buy a particular bunk bed for my girls through Amazon. I’m picking up one of these to help us reach our goal a little faster. (Plus, if you haven’t yet referred friends to itsThoughtful you can do that and earn a free $20 Amazon gift card as well)

Your turn: What do you normally buy through Amazon?

Awesome! Thanks. I shop Amazon all.the.time!

  2. Lisa says:

Awesome! This will be great for those diaper deals. I bought two, one from my account, one from hubby’s.

  3. Lisa F says:

Thanks Carrie! That’s too good of a deal to pass up. I don’t shop there a ton, but I will definitely use it, seeing as you can order pretty much anything from their site. I bought mine at 830 am and there were already over 200,000 sold!

  4. JoAnna says:

    Perfect for Kindle books. Thanks!!

  5. Carmen says:

Thank you SO much. I also bought one under mine and DH’s account!

  6. Janice Friend says:

I got three (me, spouse, and kid). It’ll be awesome!

  7. Dani says:

Picked one up for my college student, who frequently buys text books from Amazon!
    Thanks!

  8. Tracy says:

Does this gift card get mailed to my house?

    • JoAnna says:

Tracy–you will get a code via email tomorrow that you will then enter into your Amazon account for a $20 credit :)

  9. cindy says:

I went through swagbucks ‘daily deals’, picked one of the ‘living social’ offers, from there looked at other offers, in Washington DC … I got some Swagbucks for doing this … I think it was 280 …

  10. Sean says:

Don’t forget that if you are a parent, you can sign up for “Amazon Mom’s” and get free “Prime” shipping for a year too.

  11. Meghan says:

If you want more than one of these for your family, it only says one per person, not one per household. Most amazing offers like this are one per household. My boyfriend and I both purchased one.

  12. DeeAnn says:

I buy diapers through AmazonMom. If you also sign up for a subscription, you get an additional 15% off. Hopefully we won’t be buying diapers too much longer…:)

I also bought most of the Christmas gift books.

And, I bought a shovel (free shipping!). Mine broke (overusage this year) and couldn’t find one anywhere local.

    Love Amazon!

  13. Karen says:

Can you use more than one gift card on one transaction? I want to buy a big item.

    • JoAnna says:

Karen–you can buy one per person/living social account. Sign your hubby up, kids up…. And use your referral link for 3 others and you get a $10 credit :)

  14. Karen says:

What I meant was. If I get three gift cards, can I use them on one transaction when I purchase something on Amazon. I am looking at a bigger priced item and would love to use the three gift cards on one purchase.

    • JoAnna says:

We will find out starting tomorrow. I’m hoping we can enter each code (like a regular Amazon gc) and the $20 will be added each time for a grand total credit in the account for any purchase :)

    • Sydney says:

Karen – Yes, you can use more than one gift card code for a purchase. Amazon lets a person use multiple codes per purchase. They answer your question in their FAQ section. I had to look it up for my Christmas purchases.

  15. Heather says:

Has anyone received their code yet?

    • JoAnna says:

Heather-Living Social has been posting updates on their Facebook page. The most recent states that the emails have started to be sent. They have 1.3 million to send out! Quite the popular deal.

      • Heather says:

thanks, JoAnna! My husband cleared out his junk mail folder and we were worried he had deleted it already.

        • JoAnna says:

Heather-once your deal has processed (cc charged, email sent…) the gift card code will be available in your Living Social account. So, if the email is deleted you can get your code :)

  16. Janice Friend says:

FYI to everyone: if your family has more than one LS account, but you used the *SAME* credit card to charge more than one of the Amazon offer, their computer system automatically cancelled the second, third, etc. ones. You should call 877-521-4191 but do NOT select the “Amazon gift offer” option – it routes you through endless, useless menus- just wait to speak to someone. They will add you to a list and hopefully, eventually, sort it out.

  17. Thrifty1 says:

It accepted my credit card info & said I’d get an email the next day.
Here it is, January 24th, & still no email.

    What’s up?

    • Carrie Rocha says:

Have you logged into your Living Social account? Even without an email you can redeem your code. When you log in there is a banner on the top of the screen that says “Did you buy an Amazon gift card on Wednesday?” When you click that then it gives you the gift card number that you can input on Amazon to get the credit transferred int your Amazon account. Hope that helps!

  18. Thrifty1 says:

Thank you, Carrie. That’s comforting to know. And, 8:13 PM last night (Jan 24) I finally got the confirmation email.

  19. Katie says:

I still haven’t received any email confirmation? What is the website I should go to?
