I received an email for $5 off of $25 and have some ECBs to use. Thanks for the list :)
I got an email with a coupon for $4 off $20 purchase. I too have some ECBs. Thanks for the list
Hi, the Revlon beauty tools link takes me to a Target coupon page and I can’t find the coupon listed there. Does anyone have any tips on what zip to use or category to look in?
The Revlon coupon comes from the Target website, but its actually a manufacturer’s rather than a Target coupon, so you should be able to use it at CVS.
My CVS accepts competitors coups too :)
JoAnna,
Even if your CVS doesn’t accept competitor’s coupons, it should accept the Revlon coupon because it is a manufacturer’s coupon and NOT a target coupon. Some of the coupons from the Target website are manufacturer’s coupons and you do not know until you print them.
Meghan–thanks, I did understand that :) Thought others may want to know that some CVS stores accept competitor coupons.
Carrie, the Prilosec deal could be super hot if you combine it with the following rebate
purchase (2) 42 count, you get $25 gift card. That means (2) 42 ct boxes for $5 – wow!!
“BUY any (2) Prilosec OTC 42 count Products, MAIL the original cash register receipt(s) dated between 12/26/10 and 2/15/11, with your retailers name, the date, and the purchase price of each product circled AND the TWO UPC symbols cut from the label of each product purchased TOGETHER WITH the completed original Redemption Form, which can be downloaded at http://www.PrilosecOTC.com/rebate, in a properly stamped envelope, postmarked no later than 3/1/11 To: Prilosec OTC Deal, P.O. box 900089, El Paso, TX 88590-0089.”

Got it. Will update the list now.
Sorry but MN did NOT get the $4/1 listerine coupon…not sure why that one is posted.
Also, if anyone signed up for the FREE excedrin coupons it could make for a nice money maker.
Rachel – You’re right. Sorry about that.
Listerine coupon deal doesnt calculate right or I am tired? use 2 – $2 cpns
2x$5 = $10
2-$2 cpns=$4
Spend $6 get $5 ECB
FP= $1 for 2 or .50 ea
Buy 1 GE Energy Smart 40, 60, 75 or 100 Watt Equivalent (1 pk.) for $3.99, Get $2 Extra Care Bucks (Limit 1)
I have $1 coupons that expire 1/31/11 that came from coupon inserts but not sure which ones so you may not have to print one?
The Nivea deal has actually been a running deal from sometime in December until January 11, 2011. I saw it in a CVS ad in either a Red Plum or Smart Source from a few weeks back. And I did it again today, and even though it said “Limit 1″ in the ad, it doesn’t show that I reached my limit. Therefore, if Nivea is not in this week’s advertisement, it actually is an unadvertised deal for buying $20 and getting 5 back. They have the B1G1 Nivea coupons in one of the inserts this week, so it would make a good deal paired with some of the $2/2 from liking Nivea on Facebook. I’ve gotten the lip balm/lip gloss several times in the past few months when they had promotions and used them in Christmas gift baskets. EVERYONE loved them, and they are now my favorite as well.
I looked through the Target coupons for the Revlon Beauty Tool printable coupon, and couldn’t find it. Has anyone spotted it??
The link brought me to a $2/1 printable coupon for South Beach Living Granola Bars instead of the
$1/1 South Beach Living Bars as listed. Even better savings!
Thanks for posting this. I was trying to decide if I should buy these or not but now that they are better than free, I can’t resist!
I’m with Val–I still am not able to find the Revlon coupon on the Target website. If you spot it, I’d love to know the zip code and/or category. Our foster cats always come to us with long nails and we go through nail clippers quickly!
Very dissapointed. Couldn’t get the Planters, Revlon or Northern coupons!
There was a $1 off of Planters Nutrition in one of my Smart Source inserts today. If you get a Sunday paper, then it is just as good!
The Aveeno shampoo coupon is no longer available.
How can we use 2 of the Listerine coupons if they say “Limit one coupon per purchase”? I don’t think that’s going to be possible.
I appreciate this website and the work done by the people behind it, but I was really surprised to read comments such as
“this deal requires printing from multiple computers” and
“use 4 of this coupon”, and
“this deal requires having more than one RedPlum Insert” I mean, really?
What store is going to accept more than one manufacturer’s coupon? None. I think the website could focus more on real, doable deals that people can actually use (even if that means that some weeks have fewer deals that others), rather than dozens and dozens of apparent deals that are false because no store is actually going to accept them (or no one is actually getting 4 copies of the Sunday magazine.)
I was SO excited about this website, but now my enthusiasm is starting to dwindle.
I have NEVER had a grocery store, CVS, or big box store like Wal-Mart or Target NOT accept multiple copies of the same coupon. You can’t use more than 4 on the P&G, because it says that they only permit 4 of like coupons on the coupon. Limit one coupon per purchase actually means that you can use one coupon on each you purchase. If it said one coupon per transaction (the P&G say 4 per transaction), then that would keep you from using it. But you can definitely use more than one Listerine coupon if you are purchasing multiple Listerine bottles.
I think this blog is very practical. Carrie and Laura have been a blessing for writing up these lists every week for so many of us to use!
Welcome Stefania. From what I know, ‘one per purchase’ means one coupon per one item you buy. For example, you are allowed to use 2 coupons on 2 bottles of Listerine as you are purchasing two bottles. Yes, stores won’t let you use more than one manufacturer coupon on one item, however 1 per item is generally accepted and I’ve never run into any issues. I believe you were thinking it meant coupon per total order. A coupon would read ‘one per transaction’ if that were the case. I know it’s confusing :) As far as getting or having multiple coupons, numerous people order or buy more than one copy of the Sunday paper. For me, I get two copies and my mom gives me her inserts, so I have 3 already! Ask friends or family for extras, most people are willing to share! Hope that helped some :)
Stefania – First, welcome to Pocket Your Dollars! I think others have done a great job explaining what we understand “one coupon per purchase” to mean. If you have other questions, please feel free to ask and, if ultimately Pocket Your Dollars isn’t the right fit for you, that’s okay with us; there are lots of websites that help folks save money and if ours doesn’t fit quite right, then maybe another will. No matter what, all of us here at Pocket Your Dollars have a heart to help and wish you all the best in your journey to save money. Please let us know what other questions you have. Again, welcome!
I bought FOUR extra copies of the paper today so that I could do the Wisk deal, among many other fabulous deals from this blog. Don’t knock it until you try it! It is very rare that one of the scenarios posted here does not work and I have been using these lists for months. Thank you Carrie!
I got 4 papers this week. With the 5 inserts in each paper there will be many deals, but specifically I was almost out of laundry detergent. I have a front loader that requires HE soap. The HE soap is a little harder to get a rock bottom prices…yeah CVS and Wisk $2/1 coupons!
Thanks Britney and Meghan. I appreciate your input. I’ll give it a try and hopefully it will work.
I do love this website and use it every week.
Welcome … be patient … I actually get 7 papers and have aprivate swap group going … ie I do not use diaper baby items while others give me their contact items ….
I just got back from CVS in Eden Prairie…they ROCK! I purchased 5 Wisk, used 2.50 in ECB, $5/25 coupon and 5- $2/1 Wisk Coupons. Paid 8.77 and rec’vd $10 ECB = 1.23 PROFIT!!! Hooray! Thanks PYD!
I love the EP store too! They also take competitor coupons! The cashiers are very helpful when trying to do multiple transactions.
Good job Cynthia – I was there this morning as well. Did the spend $10 get $3ECB Glade – Bought 10 glade sprays @$1 and used 3-$3 off 3 Q’s, 2 Listerine $5 each 2-$2 Q’s get $5 ECB , 2 Palmolive 88 cents each and 2-75 cent q’s. 3 boost drinks $5.99 each, Buy 2 get 1 free from coupon spitter 3- $1.50 mfg Q get $2 ECB. $5 ECB qtrly reward and $5 off $25 ECB Q. Final total was $3.55 and got $10 ECB. Plan now to go back and get the Wisk, Planter’s nuts and Angel Soft w/ Q’s and the CB from today spending $10 and get $10 ECB back. Good week at CVS this week.
Did you notice if there was any Wisk HE left at the EP store?
I didn’t look as this will be another trip tomorrow or Tuesday.
Yeah! There was still HE Wisk available when I finally got to CVS today! I was down to my last bottle of HE soap.
Just wanted to let everyone know that the CVS in St Michael is now open. The assistant manager is fantastic (he was at the Rogers store and came over to help open this one). The big ‘Grand Opening” celebration will be next weekend.
Just to let you know…the Palmolive dishsoap this week is $.88. There were 2 coupons in the paper this week..one for .75 off one and 2.00 off two. I used both, got 3 bottles of soap for about thirteen cents!!
Technically the $2/2 is 20 oz or greater size. Not the 88 cent 10 0z. size on sale.
You’re right!! I didn’t cut the coupons apart yet, just grabbed them from my pile. I handed them to the lady to see what she would say, and she took both of them! Oops!!
My cvs ad states that the 10oz palmolive is on sale for .88 but those coupons you mentioned are for 20oz or larger…..
You are right. The size made me pause until I saw that the CVS ad stated that there were coupons in the Sunday paper. I used mine without problem.
About the NicoDerm deal – I bought a package today (hubby wants to quit) and there was a peely on it for an additional $7 off that the very nice clerk decided I should stack with my $15 coupon to see if the register would allow it and it did! My final cost was just $8! Yahoo! :-)
The South Beach bars coupon link is dead…just an FYI!
My husband loves when I purchase the bags of Starbucks Coffee because you can bring the empty bag into a Starbucks and get a free medium cup of coffee.
There was a coupon for Nutrition bars, underneath of the $1 of nuts, in one of my Smart Source inserts. I believe it’s either $1 off one or $1 off of 2. Taking the “worst case scenario,” you could take two coupons for $1 off 2, buy 4, and then pay $4 or $1 each after coupons and ECB’s.
I just got home and checked my coupons. The coupons I got in the Smart Source are for $1 off of 1 box of Nutrition. Therefore, if you use 4, it will make them 50 cents each after ECB’s.
Does anyone know if you can use expired CVS coupons at CVS? I finally recieved a $4 off a $20 purchase, but it expired on Monday and I did not have a chance to make it to the store. Just cerious if anyone knows. Thanks.
Erin – I know that some CVS stores accept expired Extra Care Bucks (and possibly CVS coupons, too). If you live in the Twin Cities, I know of two of them that might – Brooklyn Park and Maple Grove.
Erin–my CVS says they accept their coupons expired but not MQ coupons expired.
Erin
IT varies by store. I know that the CVS In Rogers and in St. Micheal won’t take expired Extra Care coupons or dollars, and that I was told it was a company wide policy. They told me to call customer care line and see if they can reissue them.
I had $16 in ECB that I neglected to use. I called customer service and they told me they could only issue up to $10 back to me.
That’s great they let you keep some! I have a new plan that I have to use them each month –even if I don’t generate more I have to use them and get things I can really use.
Add Blaine on 108th to the list of stores that accept expired cvs coupons & ecb’s. I spoke to the manager (Barb) & she said it’s up to the manager whether they take expired’s or not. It would be nice if it was a store wide policy to take the guess work out of it. Also not sure how expired they can be. Again no policy in place.
LOVE LOVE LOVE LOVE the new “Print my List” feature. I was copying and pasting the deals I was going to use in a word doc…now I don’t have to! Thank you!
I am so frustrated! I was so excited earlier because I received my 2 coupons for free excedrin. When I went to the store today, she wouldn’t take them. Then she had the nerve to tell me that “it was like stealing”. How embarrassing…there were 3 people behind me, and she basically called me a thief. I asked her “how do you figure”? I have a coupon for a free product, and you tell me that I am stealing. The nerve of some people! That didn’t even make sense!
I am sorry you had this experience. What store were you at? I had no trouble with the Excedrin coupon at CVS or at Target.
You might want to try the CVS in Lakeville on Kenwood. They are nice there and it’s just across the street from a Walgreens and a Rainbow, so it’s super convenient.
I tried using them for the Excedrin deal at CVS in Farmington….:( Oh well. It won’t deter me from going back, but it still stinks! I waited for 2 weeks for those to come in the mail just so that I could do this deal!
One word – Manager.
