Target Shopping List 12/12 – 12/18/10

This deal has expired and may no longer be valid.

As you get started shopping at Target we’d recommend getting familiar with Target’s price matching policy and Target’s coupon policy. You may want to bring printouts of these with you to the store so that you have them in case you run into issues. If you are new to Pocket Your Dollars, learn how to read this shopping list or troubleshoot problems when printing coupons.

Remember that this is a starting list of deals for the week. As readers leave comments with bargains they found at their local store or we get emails with deal ideas, we will update this list. Items that are added throughout the week will be noted as NEW. Items whose final price changes as a result of a new or modified coupon scenario will be noted as UPDATED. At least once this week we will send out a reminder to come back and check this list for the hottest new deals.

Target fanatics should check out the ever-changing supply of Target online coupons, be sure to sign up for Target’s text-messaged coupons and browse Target’s weekly ad online. Plus, if you have a Target card, you can get 5% off your total bill when you use the card to pay.

On-Going Deals (Previously listed)

These items are listed from lowest final price to highest (and then my totally anal-retentive self ordered items that have the final price from lowest to highest starting price and then a third sort alphabetically. I say that only so you can tease me about my extreme love for patterns and ordered lists). Please leave a comment if a printable coupon is out of prints or the product is no longer at the specified price (maybe it was a temporary price cut?) and we will update the list to reflect that.

Comments

  1. opie says:

There were no more prints available for the Reynolds Slow Cooker coupon

  2. JoAnn says:

I tried Kraft coupons and i tried the Coffee Mate coupons. After registering and taking a survey I still can’t get the coupons????RRRGGGHHHH

  3. Monica says:

Thanks for the post on the Pictureka card game. The Vad. Hgts Target had them for $5.24 and we had 2 coupons so we got 2 at a dirt cheap price!!!

    • Marla says:

I used 2 coupons as well, but after I got home and looked at my receipt, one of the coupons only rang up as $3 off instead of $5! Did both of yours give you the $5 off?

  4. JoAnna says:

My Target didn’t even have a spot for the Pictureka card game. May check another location. With no beeps or questions the $5 Hungry Hippo coupon went through on the $4.99 travel edition. Great deal when donating!

  5. Mary says:

Managed to get the Pictureka game, but our Target didn’t even seem to have a spot for the Hungry Hippo.

  6. jackie says:

Couldn’t find the travel games but now thinking I may have been checking in the wrong spot. Will check again. Tried to do the ponds deal but it wasn’t labeled as getting a gift card and the cashier said it didn’t ring up that way. :( bummer.

  7. Christina says:

My Target ad says that pepsi products are 4/$12, not $2.50.

  8. Jennifer says:

I noticed the great deal on the Leapster Explorer and thought that might be a great Christmas gift for my daughter. I did some research online and discovered the toy has a plethora of embedded advertising and requires multiple additional game/accessory purchases. We decided it isn’t the best choice!

  9. Lindsey says:

Yeah! The Crock Pot and liners will be a perfect gift for my sister. Thanks!

  10. Marla says:

I went shopping on Sat. (Yes, I am one of the crazies driving around in a snowstorm! LOL) and looked over my receipt when I got home. I found that I only got $3 off the 2nd Pictureka game and I don’t think they took off one of the $4 coupons on the weightwatcher meals I bought. I find the reciept can be really confusing to figure out!

I noticed some other discrepancies and I think I may have been shorted $8-$10. Next time I go back to Target, I’m bringing in my receipt to have them look it over. One coupon even took 75 cents off some pullups I bought instead of the toothpaste the coupon is for. If I can print out duplicate coupons should I bring them in for proof or will they credit me if I go thru my receipt with them and can account for all my coupons? I wrote everything down when I got home that I thought I didn’t get credit for. Has anyone gone back later to dispute a receipt?

    • Lisa says:

Like Dawn (below), I emailed corporate after I got double charged for something and they sent me a gift card. If you’ve never done anything like that before, I’d suggest being as specific as possible in describing what happened. I also stressed that I often go to Target 2-3 times/week. Figured that couldn’t hurt! Good luck.

  11. Sue says:

I agree with Marla, Target’s receipts are difficult to figure out. I always wonder if they set this up this way intentionally??? I almost always feel “cheated” when I leave there.

  12. Dawn says:

@ Marla….I emailed corporate after a shopping experience like that (detailing what coupons I wasn’t credited for) and they sent me a gift card which covered more than what I was shorted on. Worth a try for you too!

  13. sally says:

I always add up my purchases and coupons when I get home and always have to go back (usually the next day) and straighten it out. I have never had them refuse to adjust & refund my money. I get kind of angry that I always have to do this but they always make it right.

  14. LB says:

AXE deodorant $1.00 off Target printable Plus use the BOGO in 12-12 RP Get 2 for $ 2.44 making them $1.22 each. A great price for this brand. Also, K-mart has all Axe gift sets on sale this week. $ 7.99 for the large ones and $6.32 for the small. Use the $3.00 off gift set in the 12-12 RP makes for some inexpensive gifts to donate to teen-age boys.

  15. SC says:

    Carrie and/or Laura,
The Kraft 8 oz block cheese is on sale for $2 this week. Target has coupons on their website for $1 off one plus there are coupons for $1 off two on the Kraft website which would make these $1.00 each. Is this a good price for block cheese?
    Thanks,
    SC

  16. Dawn N says:

My .40 cent coupon for soups from the 12-12 SS is for 3 vs 2 soups and excludes great for cooking. My ink is running low and my coupon from the site for 4 soups printed fine with bar code but no numbers under the bar code. Has the watermark…wonder if it will work?

  17. Dawn N says:

In my Sunday paper there was a shiny Target grocery flyer and on it is a cpn for one free Archer Farms appetizer if you spend $25 in grocerys. I assume that is before coupons.

    • JoAnna says:

      Dawn-
I have that, too. Great deal since the ap can be up to $10.19. Hand that coupon first :)

      • cindy says:

I was coming to comment on this too! I used it this morning, and did hand it first. I didn’t realize until I was in the store, how high valued it was. These appetizers should be fun to put out at the rescheduled from last weekend family party!

    • Lee says:

What all counts towards the $25? I only need a few food items, but with my paper plates, toilet paper, etc I should make $25. Do you think they will let me use it?

      • Sue says:

I have that same question. I guess I’ll just try using it and if they don’t take it, I’ll pass on the appetizer.

  18. lorrie says:

The iPod deals, there is a coupon for a $15 gift card when you spend $150 or more that you should be able to apply. It came from one of the mailers

  19. Debbie says:

Is there a Target pharmacy coupon anywhere? I just used one a couple of weeks ago and usually save them when I see one in the flyer but I need a prescription today and can’t find a coupon. I’ve called around to the pharmacies to get the best price and Target was the lowest but I want to get the best price I can with a coupon if possible. Thanks for any help!

  20. Sarag says:

I noticed a coupon on the shelf next to the stove top stuffing for a free box of stuffing when you buy 3. Buy 3, get 1 free, plus the target coupon(.50 off 1)…not a bad deal, especially because the chicken flavor was actually on sale for .79 each. ($1.87 for 4 boxes of stuffing)

  21. Sarah says:

(Sarah, not Sarag)One more thing…I add stove top stuffing to hamburger to make great tasting meatballs. Simply mix in an egg, bake and then enjoy them or put them in the freezer for later.

  22. Sarah says:

My comment about the stove top stuffing coupon disappeared…I found a buy 3, get 1 free next to the stuffing mixes. Chicken flavor was on sale for .79, not .99. Using the target printable and the coupon at the store I bought 4 boxes and paid 1.87(.46 each).

  23. TAMMY says:

I printed 21 Target coupons and missed the soup coupon. When I went back to print it, it said something like “you’ve printed the maximum number of coupons you are entitled to”. I didn’t know that target had a maximum numbe of coupons that you could print. has enyone else experienced this?

    • Martha says:

      Me too,

Usually when I have printed the 2 qs allowed it just drops it from the list and you don’t see it. I tried with another q and it printed hmmmm?

      • Nita says:

I have had that happen to me once before, I used a different computer that day and then the next week when I tried again coupons printed fine.

    • Kristin says:

Tammy I am getting that as well and I’ve never printed that coupon and I only printed about 2 others total. My guess is that they are no longer allowing us to print it.

    • fusilli says:

Same here. I tried it on my laptop and realized it didn’t print out. Tried again and it said I’ve reached my print limit. Went to a different computer and got the same scenario again.

  24. Marie says:

Tammy- yes the target coupons let you only print 2x’s.

  25. sandra T says:

On facebook Coupons do we only get these once?(Hot Pockets, Assorted Varieties (Side Shots & Paninis included) (7.5- 9 oz.) $1.80
Use $1/1 Hot Pockets SideShots printable (Facebook offer)
    Final price: $0.80 after coupon

    • jessica says:

      Sandra,
I click “back” in my web browser 3 times quickly and it prints a second coupon usually. This works on most Bricks coupons no matter who it’s through (facebook, company’s website, etc.)

  26. Shelly says:

When I returned something at Target today, they still had those really nice coupon books sitting on the counter. I was somewhat surprised because they say they are all “SuperTarget” coupons, and this happened to be our smaller Target in St. Louis Park. Lots of $1, .75 and .50 off grocery items like Ghiraradelli & Nestle choc chips, butter, ice cream, Swiss Miss, etc etc. Good until December 28.

The $1.00 off of any Suave shouldn’t work for the .97 cent bottles- the Target coupon says the price of the item cannot exceed the coupon value. The better deal then would be to use the $1 off target coup with a .75 off 2 or .50 off one Mens Suave manu coup.
I’m not sure if the coupon doesn’t ring at all or just rings at 0- does anyone know what happens if you try to use it for the .97 cent bottles?

    Two things:

I went to Target today and my Target didn’t have the ready made Similac for 3. something anymore. They were back to regular price.

Also, I think this deal might work. Target has a sale on Gerber 1st and 2nd foods. 10 for $8. I got a Target baby mailer for I think $1.00 off so many containers of Gerber foods. Then Facebook has coupons you can print for $1.00 off three 2-packs. If you can use more then one of those since you buy 10 for $8 you might potentially be able to use three making it 10 Gerber foods for $4. Haven’t tried it, but just found all the coupons and think of trying it out.

Actually I just read the fine print it says limit one coupon per specified item(s) purchased. I guess at the very least you could spend $6 for 10. Not too bad.

WHERE CAN I FIND THE IPOD COUPON?

  30. Carina says:

The $1.00 off any Suave product does work with the bottles of Suave that are under $1.00. I bought a full size bottle of Suave shampoo for $.84 and the coupon went through and never beeped.
